~Time skip: 2 weeks~
Toono rapidly knocked on Yui's door, having come all the way from outside. Yui groggily answered with Kyousuke clinging to his back.
"Is it true?" Toono asked, not providing any context.
"You're gonna have to give me context here." said Yui, yawning.
"Oh, Toono hey." said Kyousuke in his just woke up voice.
"Why are you both so tired? It's one in the afternoon." Toono deadpanned.
"Did you come here to ask something or lecture us?" Yui snapped.
"Right. Is it true? Does Itome really have a boyfriend?" Toono asked.
Yui's eyes snapped open. He asked Toono to repeat what he said, just to make sure he heard correctly.
"Hold up. Where did you hear this?" Yui asked full of concern.
"I was walking back to my room and I overheard some of guys saying Itome is dating someone. One of them seemed upset about the news." said Toono, remembering passing by them.
"This is news to me... Kyo, did you know?" Yui asked.
"It's news to me too..." said Kyousuke through a yawn. "Did you ask Akemi?"
"He was the first I asked." Toono said with a sigh.
"Did you talk to Itome? This is about him after all." Yui suggested.
"He's gone. I checked everywhere." said Toono.
They all turned to look at the source of a yawn they heard. Yuri rubbed his eyes, wondering who was talking.
"Yuri, you know anything about Itome being in a relationship?" Yui asked.
"Nah..." Yuri replied, feeling a small pit in his stomach.
"Can anyone get in contact with Itome? He hasn't answered my texts..." said Kyousuke from inside Yui's room.
Everyone collectively tried, hoping he'd answer one of them. Seconds turned into minutes. No one had their message read.
"Maybe he's busy with something..." Toono reasoned.
"Wouldn't he have mentioned it so we wouldn't bother him?" Kyousuke said as he shifted in Yui's arms.
"True..." said Toono with his head lowered.
"Rumor." said Yuri, clenching his fists.
"What makes you so sure it's just a rumor?" Yui asked, wondering what Yuri knew.
"If we think about it, that's all it could be. Itome didn't show any signs of being interested in anyone." said Kyousuke.
"He hasn't accepted any confessions from what I remember." said Yui with a thoughtful look. "If it is a rumor, who started it?"
"Someone who wants Itome to themselves?" said Toono.
"Or someone out to prevent him for getting his own happy ending." said Kyousuke.
A phone dinged. Everyone checked their phones. Toono put his down. Kyousuke put his down. Yui put his down. Yuri put his down.
"I thought I heard familiar voices." said a voice from behind them.
"Akemi!" exclaimed Toono.
"We still haven't gotten in touch with Itome." said Kyousuke.
"Well, he texted me just now." said Akemi, moving further into the room.
