Chapter Fourteen: Dream Chasers

Harry's P.O.V.

It really isn't fair that I am as happy as can be and Kaila is missing out on the soul reason she moved to London. I know that taking care of two kids while being a famous singer and having your lover also trying to make it in the music industry will be almost impossible but I know we can do it.

It may cause for a lot of extra work on my part but if it makes her happy then I don't care.

My mum is staying at our place for a little to help us out towards the beginning. She is at home while Kaila and I go to Simon's recording studio. Kaila is going to record a demo and if Simon likes it then she will have a contract. I guess it's a good thing I've already made it because if I hadn't Kaila may not have gotten her chance.

She is standing in the studio by the microphone. I am standing outside the recording room by the sound panel with Simon.

"She beter be good. I am wasting a lot of time right now." Simon says to me.

"First she isn't good. She is amazing. Second I guarantee you are not wasting your time."

"You better be right."

"I am."

We stare through the glass at Kaila who is waiting for her cue to begin.

Simon motions for her to begin and my stomach knots up. She sings "Cry" by Kelly Clarkson.

If anyone asks,

I'll tell them we both just moved on

When people all stare

I'll pretend that I don't hear them talk

Whenever I see you,

I'll swallow my pride

and bite my tongue

Pretend I'm okay with it all

Act like there's nothing wrong
