Made A Mistake

Chapter 2

   At lunch Deanna was on her phone and finally found a match. She quietly squealed with joy. Franchesca looked at her and sighed but continued eating without saying anything.
   "Hi Deanna" said a boy. Deanna looked up and noticed it was Aiden. She blushed and quickly looked down and tried to ignore him. He tilted his head and frowned. "What are you doing" He asked as he sat down next to her and tried looking over her shoulder. She turned her back to him and huffed.
   "That is very rude. Dont you know manners!?" She scoffed towards him. He nodded and then walked away.

   She burst through the door and threw her bag on the couch. She trudged into the kitchen and made some pasta for herself. She looked on to the counter as her phone buzzed. She picked it up and noticed it was a text.

She placed her phone face down on the counter and continued making her food which was almost done. She sighed with her heart pounding. This is true love! She thought to herself. Her mind raced about how Arlo would take her to romantic places and he would love her, and she would love him.

   After she ate Deanna decided to go to sleep early. Her dreams were full of Arlo that night.

She woke up in the morning feeling fresh and decided to treat herself to her own personal spa. After she finished she watched tv and took a nap. She loved the weekends because she could do whatever she wanted. She looked at her phone and noticed Arlo had texted her.

   That's it. It was set for today. Her heart pounded not even thinking about perverted adults who want to rape innocent and young children.

   She went to the park and waited for some time. She started to feel weird as it was about half an hour and Arlo still hasn't arrived. She hadn't even gotten a text from him or seen a car pull up.

   Another 30 minutes later she saw a large white truck pull up and she got excited. She quickly perked up and tried looking good. When she saw nobody get out she slowly walked passed but when she got to the door she felt something hit her head and she fell. When she looked up weakly she noticed the truck door opened and a fat old man in the driver seat. The man got out and looked down at her smiling. He picked her up and layed her down in the back seat. The grin on his face almost made Deanna sick. She felt weak and soon fell asleep while laying in the dirty truck.

   As she awoke they were stopped. She looked out of the tinted windows and saw a gas station and other cars parked around the white truck. When she noticed and boy slowly walking to a car with what looked like his mom, she stared. Aiden! She thought to herself. She quickly started kicking on the windows and screaming for him. He turned to the white truck and looked around. He looked into the windows and saw her. He quickly yelled to his mom.
   "Mom! Its Deanna! Shes in that white truck!" His muffled yell rang in her head. She felt herself drifting in and out of sleep.
   "Hurry for me" she muffled out the random words as she tried to keep her eyes open. His smile burned into her head and she felt her eyes close. They shot open when she heard the so-called 'Arlo' yelling at Aiden. He lectured him for invasion of privacy. After the man got in the car Aiden showed her he got the plate number. She couldn't smile. She was about to cry before she passed back out feeling dizzy as the car began to move again.
