When Deanna reached the bottom her legs were all scratched up and red. It was a big hill, so it was a long fall that seemed to last forever to her. She was breathing quick and the adrenaline in her started ro wear off meaning her body was starting to ache again.
"How did I even get this far." Deanna laughed to herself feeling the luck in her body. She noticed the Senyard River that led straight into town. Deanna checked her surroundings before walking along the stream. She knew it was too risky to go on the road again.
Deanna stopped and looked into the water, she stared at her reflection in the water and started to sob. The tears fell down from her eyes quickly. She threw her body against a tree and sobbed for what felt like hours. She was scared, hungry, tired, in pain, and most of all she didnt know what she was doing.
What was her parents going to do with her after this? What was her friends going to think about her? Would people make fun of her and tease her for being desparate? The more she thought the more she cried. Everything was overwhelming her and at this point she just wanted to be back home and safe.
After her eyes were all dried up and her internal pain had ended for now, she got up from the tree and dusted the dirt, and leaves off of her dirty clothes. She has gone through so much, for what? A cat fisher online that she should have known. 'Arlo' was too good to be true and she knew that.
She shook her head trying to dismiss more of those annoying thoughts, which slowed her down from her mission. Her mission to get home. She continued to walk, the more steps she took a smile grew bigger on her face. She was confident that she was going to get home.
She froze when a realization hit her. Where is my phone!? She was panicking when she realized she couldn't call anyone to let them know shes okay and that shes coming home and that she doesnt need help. Deanna took deep breaths and ran her fingers through her hair and did some techniques she learned from her mom to calm herself down.
She soon started to not care for her phone. As long as she got home, to her parents, friends, and Aiden, that's all she needed. A smile creeped back on her face. She started to jog the river, to get home faster. She didnt know if she was getting close or not but in the distance she saw a bridge. She felt her heart drop with excitement. She recognized the bridge very well,on the left of the bridge it was her home town, Senyard. And on the right it led to another town that she has been in a few times.
She ran to the bridge until she was basically under it. She started to run up the steep hill which led to her home town. As she reached the top she looked onto the street carefully. She looked specifically for her enemies white truck. When she thought it was all clear she walked out onto the sidewalk. The road was quite bust for her small town.
She stepped on a crosswalk and started to walk across before running to the other side because she saw his white truck. He tried to hit her! She stared at the car with her heaer pounding hard. How is he keeping up with me!? She thought. She thought it was impossible. She saw some girls who looked about her age walking. They seemed like the popular type but Dranna was desparate to get away from him at this point. She ran up to the girls and they looked at her with disgust.
"Please help me" Deanna said. "That white truck has kidnapped me. I need someone to look out for me while I go to the police department." The girls stared at her, then looked to each other and burt out in laughter.
"No way." The girl in the middle said. Her rich, snobby attitude made Deanna gag. "You look like a pig that escaped from a farm." She, and her friends laughed.
"Yeah well I'm sorry your so rich that you dont have to worry about real life problems!" Deanna yelled at her. She heard on of the girls say the mide gis name Kenzie. "Your just being spoiled and taught that everything will go exactly like you want it to. Well I hope you become poor and then you have real life difficulties, Kenzie!"
Kenzie looked at Deanna before slapping her in the face. Deanna filled with rage. Deanna grabbed Kenzie by the wrist and dragged her to the hill. Kenzie tried to pull back and yelled and Deanna but she didnt listen.
"Let's see how you deal with heights, and let's also see if you can survive like I did." Deanna said before pushing her down the hill. She felt a sense of happiness, but she remembered how she was being hunted. "Have an awful day snobs. Deanna said before running off.
She knew her away around town but this seemed different and she didnt know what to do. Maybe it was out of fear but Deanna walked into a convenience store. As she looked around she saw the fat of man that kidnapped her. She looked outside and then noticed his truck too. Her heart dropped.
"Deanna." He said. His voice was the last thing she wanted to hear right now but she didnt have a choice. "I was looking all over for you, I was worried." His smile was real, but only because he found his prey.
She couldn't reply. She wanted to scream for help but what would that do for her right now. She slowly walked backwards feeling the door to the small store, and she punched it open before running away again.
This is all I ever do. She thought to herself feeling the tears flood her eyes again. All I do is run from my problems.
