Deanna stopped after she passed 2 streets. Her legs were wobbly and her heart raced again. She fell to the ground in frustration. How could I let that happen!? She yelled at herself in her mind. She knew how she could have reported him but she was too startled and forgot to yell for help.
She looked around at all the houses and for a minute she was scared she was lost before she realized where she was. She wondered where 'Arlo' was right now. She wondered if he still was trying to find her.
"I will make it home soon." Deanna smiled. She had never wanted to be home so bad.
Deanna stood up and wandered to look for somewhere to stay. She started to head back to the bridge to sleep under it for the night. She lost her blanket and pillow so she would have warmth or comfort for the night.
When she saw the convenience store, she had a brilliant idea. She knocked on the glass and tried to grab the attention of the boy working at the counter.
"Were closed." His muffled voice sounded annoyed. He wouldnt even look up at her.
"I need help!" Deanna spoke with a little bit of a raised voice. "I'm that missing kid!" She pointed to the photo of her on the wall. The boy that was at the counter looked up and seemed to be stunned. "Please help me!" Deanna tried one more time.
He quickly went around the counter and opened the door. "I'm so sorry, I didnt-" he started.
"You didn't bother to look up." Deanna scoffed, but she thanked him for opening to door to let her in. "Now, can I stay here for the night?" She looked up at him with worry sparkling in her eyes.
"Sure. I'll just be here with you too." He said. As he look at her more, his face grew curious. "You've been missing for 2 days. How have you managed?" He asked.
Deanna looked at him. "I guess, I took alot of risks to get back home." She looked down and let out a sigh. "I guess, i had hope and i wished really hard to get home."
"You will get home." He said. "Oh and by the way my name is Chris." Deanna smiled at him. She knew he could trust him.
"And I bet you already know my name." She chuckled but started to feel embarrassed. Everyone would know her name by now. Shes a missing girl for crying out loud.

After a spot was made for her on the floor she sat there and fiddled with her hands. She hugged him and tears started to roll down his face.
"Thank you." She whispered. She couldn't tell if she was sad or happy. She though she was happy because she was back in her hometown, and she was somewhere safe for now.
She snuggled into the blankets and rested her head on the singular pillow on the floor. She sighed and shut her eyes to rest for night before her journey home.

"You are a brave child." The same voice from the forest called out. Deanna couldn't see anything but all she could hear was her voice.
"You again?" She sighed. "Who are you?" She still couldn't figure out who this strange woman was, or why she wanted to talk to her.
"I am Siera. I am here to protect you when things get hard for you to fight." Deanna started to feel herself float and she noticed she was back in the galaxy from her first dream. She saw her gaurdian approach her with angelic movements.
"Th-Thank you for telling me" Deanna stumbled on her words and shook her head feeling embarrassed. Deanna tried to reach out but with no gravity she started to spin uncontrollably and Siera had to grab her. Her skin was soft and warm, and Deanna felt comforted with with Siera.
"You need to be careful with who you trust young soul." She whispered.
"Wait! I dont want to wake up!" Deanna yelled in suprise. She felt the warmth of Siera's body disappear as a cold present came near her. She could see things moving and glowing red dots.

Deanna awoke with a shock but she didnt scream. She felt herself sweating like she was really hot but the air was chilly around her. She sighed and stood up. She opened the glass door that led into the outside and put a rock in the door so she could get back in when she was done.
She walked to the bridge and was being delighted by the fresh air she was getting. She looked off the bridge and smiled. I'm a survivor she thought to herself. She knew they she could do anything once she survived a dangerous man that could have raped her in his basement. She sat don on the walking part of the bridge and started to think.
Like, what would happen if she hadn't escaped? What would have happened if he had successfully shot her? What would have happened if she hadn't jumped into the woods and slid down that hill? Would he have ran her over?
She shook her head trying to get rid of the terrible thoughts. What she had to focus on was getting home. She wanted, and needed to get home.
"Deanna!?" She heard Chris's voice and jumped. She stood up and tried waving but he didnt notice her. She sighed and started to run to the store before a truck pulled in front of her.
"Chris!!" She screamed out to him. "Help!" She didnt down if she ran into the truck but also didnt feel pain but maybe that was just adrenalin. She tried getting up but she couldn't she looked down and she swore she saw blood. She heard Chris screaming from a distance and she could still move her legs they were just in pain. She was in pain.

CALL THE COPS CHRIS!!
She continued to wish to herself
