The Gift

She seemed too crazy to be his type. Although I'm pretty damn nuts so that's probably his type anyway. She gave a grim smile like Hunter but she looked like she wanted to eat me.

"So my boys bring you back all in one piece or do I need to check you to make sure?" Alice joked. I really wanna see myself all in one piece by the end of the day, "I got a question for you?" She kept looking straight on.

"Sure I'll answer anything. Depending on the question of course," I said

"Well it's about Noah, was he different like uncontrollable with his powers. I'm just worried about him. Every time I think it's getting better it gets worse," she hung low as she unlocked a door leading to a lounge area.

"He was fine. We didn't see anything weirder than him on our way over here," Jenna assured her. Alice stomped her foot on the floor making an examining table right in front of us. the windows turned to computer screens and her scroll hovered before her.

"Now who's first?" She had the eye's of a mad scientist, "Just lay down here and let my magic do the work," I could sense heavy smells of iron and jasmine laced the air. Not sure what she is but she has a scent similar to Hunter. Jenna rested on the table. The blue lights shaped her body. Her medical file was scattered on the windows. 

"So what's your relationship status. Single, Taken, Bi...." Alice looked up from her monitor. Jenna hopped off and landed on her couch.

"I'm taken, I think," Jenna looked confused but that's her natural look. It was my turn to be fitted by the light. Blue dramatically turned to white then to yellow. I looked like a light show. 

Alice gasped at the file, "It's beautiful," I felt like my lungs were being squeezed. Trying to jump off I was pulled back by a tugging motion, "Are you alright?" She asked 

"What's it doing," I said 

"it's doing a scan though with the information so we can archive it. You have centries built up in your pretty little red dome of a brain. We just need a copy in case,"

"In case of what?" I questioned 

"In case something like if the whole keeper thing just magically went away or you got killed," Alice stomped to wipe away the examining table. 

"I can get rid of this thing, "I asked, Jenna shared the same worried look as Alice did. 

Alice leading over her desk,"Only fine you have a death wish. You would never wanna do that unless it's your last resort," She handed me the results to the test, "Your 100% Enlightenlie, Jenna is 50% Airelolian for now, and I'm 100% drop, dead, diva. So any questions?" 

I raised my hand and she nodded as an expectation, "Yeah, Wheres the food?" I smirked, She swiftly moves to the door to press the button on the caller. A holographic face of the Commander consumed the small block she pulled up. 

"Daddy, can you send the maid in with some food, please?" She sat back down to go back to typing my file, "So now you know how the Deratailians taste, How are you going to stop them,"

"Why do you ask me that, I don't even know what's gonna happen after we get out of here," Jenna looked down at the floor trying to distance the thought of a new home. 

"Well, It's easy. Were gonna fight in a civil way and if they won't accept our offer then it's my battle. I'm not going to risk another planet to die for me, nor anyone else," I could feel the pride bubble in me, well either pride or hunger. Noah knocked on the door with a tray of sandwiches and snacks. I was still pissed about last night so the only thing keeping me from killing him was the wall of food.
