Bruce
· Bruce regrets everything he's ever done to his kids
· He finally realised how much he fucked them up when he recognised they were all like him (Dick what he wished he could've been, Jason the aggressive side of him, Tim the master detective and Damian the skilled killer)
· He also compared Damian's former lifestyle to how he raised the other three, and saw they were way too similar
· He knew that he was too late, and that there was no way for him to take back what he'd done
· Bruce is afraid to get too sentimental with his kids, so, even though he sees their pain, he's too afraid to try and help them
· When Bruce first got Damian, he was thinking of adopting after him, but then he saw the pattern that his children had going on and he fears he's going to mess up another kid
· His fear of fucking up kids has gotten so bad that he tries to avoid children altogetherDick
· Dick suffers from more emotional and mental trauma than everyone thinks and it's not because of his parents death. He accepted they were gone a long time ago, and he's happy they'rre at peace.
· It's all mostly because he walked away from his father hoping he'd see that what he was doing was wrong, only to come back some time later with a mini version of himself acting as Bruce's replacement Robin
· He doesn't talk about his trauma because he's afraid that if he does, his reasons will seem inferior to everyone else's
· He's mostly afraid because Jason and Damian had shitty lives & some of the family still criticises them for being traumatised
· Dick cries himself to sleep. Every. Single. Night. He suffers from depression and insomnia, so that's the only way it works. Relieve stress while tiring yourself out to the point of forced sleep
· After his parents died, he never had anyone to listen to him, so he always bottled up his negative emotions. It became habit after awhile
· Dick's trauma only gets worse when Jason, Tim and Damian all tell him their deepest secrets. It's especially bad when he finds Tim half dead in his bathroom (see Tim's)Jason
· Jason's trauma doesn't just come from dying, it also comes from his life on the streets
· Jason wants to defend Gotham so badly because of everything he faced after his parents died
· I feel like he faced things like rape and being beaten or severely injured
· Things that made him feel weak, that gave him this need to make others feel stronger so they didn't have to be like him
· Jason doesn't want to hate Bruce, but he feels that if Bruce was given another chance, he'd walk all over him
· He stays away from the other three because he's afraid he'll start rubbing off on them and that's one of his worst fears. More people ending up as messed up as him
· He's especially worried about Damian. He's still so young, which means he has time to become another Jason. He wants to protect what's left of Damian's innocence for as long as possibleTim
· Tim wasn't always a goodie two shoes. He had a drug addiction at some point in his life
· He battled it for a long time, hiding it from Bruce and confiding in Alfred when things got too hard to deal with
· He was afraid Bruce would be ashamed of him, and that's the one thing he DIDN'T want out of his life
· He battled it for a long tims, until he found something that gave him a better sort of high- Caffeine
· He hates his caffeine addiction, because it reminds him of how messed up he actually and how he lives a whole lie
· There are times where he relapses, and goes back to using whatever drug he'd used before, and the first time he did that, he overdosed. And Dick was the one who found him
· Tim's reaction to waking up to find out his golden boy brother was the one to find him half dead in his bathroom was horrible. He's ashamed of it to this day and Bruce still doesn't knowDamian
· Damian's greatest fear is letting his Al Ghul side show
· He feels that side is most like his mother, and he hates her for everything she did to him and Bruce
· At the same time, he doesn't want to be a Wayne because he hates Bruce for what he did to his brothers
· Damian had been going through an identity crisis since he found out who his dad was, and it only got worse when Bruce started trying to teach Damian his morals
· Dick is the only one that knows, and the only one who could help Damian with it, since he'd gone through the same thing in his early 20s (didn't put that under Dick's)
· Damian spent most of his life getting punished for showing emotion or being affectionate, so moving into the mansion where the oh-so loving Dick was most of the time had been a totally new experience
· That experience affects him so much to the point physical contact with anyone (that isn't in battle) freaks him out. He'd always been so afraid that his Ra's Al Ghul would beat him for touching any of the assassins that even grazing someone's arm has him wide eyed
