When red meets blue (Hiatus)

Lan Zhan?

-Lan Zhan P.O.V-

I was walking to the entrance of the school where my older brother told me to meet him at to watch out for any students arriving late.

As I was approaching the front entrance, I saw 4 figures standing there doing what seems to be talking.

I was going to walk over there until I saw a familiar face, the face of that trouble maker I always see at the library. Wei Wuxian.

It seems he has caused trouble once again. But not alone this time ...though?

I noticed there where two unfamiliar faces standing next to him.

One was a very petite and pretty girl. She had her hair up in a bun with braids and was wearing an over sized plain purple sweater with baby blue jeans.

The other one was a skinny and kinda short boy with a low ponytail. He was wearing a purple jacket with black jeans and a belt wrapped around the belt loops. His shirt was a fairly big white and black checkered shirt and he had a purple ribbon wrapped around his ponytail.

Maybe they are his friends?

As I saw Wei Wuxian turning to face my direction I quickly hid behind the wall of the school.

Why did I hide?

I have no reason to hide, so why? It seems Everytime it comes to Wei Wuxian, I just act differently.

Maybe it's just hate? No I can't really explain this feeling. Whatever it is, it doesn't seem that important right?

I'll just go and check on what's going on. I'm acting ridiculous really ridiculous at the moment.

I stepped out of where I was hiding and I noticed that no one was there except my brother.

Where did they go?

I began walking towards the entrance where my brother was and scanned the area for any sign of that trouble maker.

"Ah Lan Zhan, you are here. But why did you hide just now? And why do you seem upset, are you okay?"

"Mh"

"Hmm....ah is it about Wei Wuxian?"

"..."

"So it is then. Don't worry, he arrived a little late but I let it slide. Mainly because the reason was a fight around our campus streets. We will have to check that out."

"Mh"

There was a fight? Was Wei Wuxian okay? I will make sure when I go to the library later today, he should be there. Like always.

-With Wei Wuxian-

-no ones P.O.V_

Wei Wuxian and Jiang Cheng were walking to their classes together with their senior sister already arriving at hers.

The walk was pretty quiet but not unusual since most of the time they are bickering. Like now.

"That Lan Xichen seems fond of you don't you think?"

Wei Wuxian smirked.

"No hes just a classmate. Nothing else."

"Are you sure?~" Wei Wuxian teased.

"Yes I'm sure. Now drop it."

"Fine. Fine. If you say so~"

"And what about that one guy? You seem rather close with him don't you think?

"Eh? Lan Zhan?"

"Yeah, him."

"Ah no no hes just a friend."

Wei Wuxian let out a nervous laugh.

"Right..."

They continued walking for a few minutes until Jiang Cheng spotted his class.

"Don't cause any trouble"

Jiang Cheng waved good bye and went inside his classroom.

Now Wei Wuxian was left all alone. He wasn't really aloud to go to his class right now because the principal was giving  lessons and, well he was banned from coming anywhere near him.

So Wei Wuxian decided to go to the library like usual. Going there was a daily ritual now, and Everytime his little buddy Lan Wangji was there.

Wei Wuxian noticed that he actually only liked the library not because it was quiet but because it created a bond between him and Lan Wangji.

He didn't want to admit it nor  acknowledge the possibility of him liking Lan Wangji, but it seems to be heading towards that direction.

His expressionless face seemed to calm him down and he was always more cheerful and loud around the guy. Even his brother Jiang Cheng noticed it. Which was a bad thing because now all he does is question Wei Wuxian about it.

Not that Jiang Cheng ever cared about Wei Wuxian being gay since Jiang Cheng himself was bi sexual, but he was worried about it making obvious to other students or faculty in the school, especially Lan Wangji.

He didn't want everyone to hate him, especially not the new "friend" he had just acquired since this school was really homophobic. They didn't support the LGBT community because they thought it was wrong and disgusting.

Well not  everyone, but the majority did.

It was something that really bothered the Jiang/Wei family and the Lab Brothers since they were themselves apart of the community-Well except YanLi that is. Though no one really knew or would guess they were at least.

As Wei Wuxian approached the doors of the library, he felt a horrible sense if dread rise to his stomach. The feeling was nauseating and felt as if he had been stabbed multiple times with knifes.

He couldn't explain what it was, or what he felt it but, it was indeed a horrible feeling. It was the feeling he would get when he felt something bad was going to happen. It didn't necessarily have to happen at this very moment, but eventually.

His face when pale and his body froze. Sweat ran down his face as he felt shivers through out his thin body.

Suddenly the library doors flew open, revealing Lan Wangji on the other side.

His face suddenly became a blur as Wei Wuxian felt dizzy.

Why was he feeling that way? It wasn't the first time he had felt like this but this was a lot stronger than usual.

"Lan Zhan..."

Was all Wei Wuxian as he lost  consciousness and began to fall to his side- but before he could, string arms took a hold of him.

Lan Zhan's face was filled with worry. A feeling he never was able to express, but with Wei Wuxian it seemed to not matter. Because at this very moment, all he wanted was for his friend to be safe.

He didn't know what had happened.

Wei Wuxian didn't know what horrible thing was yet to come. All he knew was that something horrible was about to happen.

Something that would change his life for the worst.

I decided it is better if I post every week at whatever day I can do since it's easier on me.
