Wednesday and football try-outs are finally here. After many hours of nudging and complaining and deal-making, Dean gave in and agreed to play football for the school. Mary was probably most excited saying that her son "will kick some jock ass" and "have fun," haha, yeah right. Honestly, Dean doesn't even know if he's good at sports; sure, he's big and determined but that won't always stop the fat, three hundred-pound quarterbacks from tackling him.
Today's is just dedicated to football for the sport players and cheerleaders, everyone else gets do their regular classes.
The first hour was okay, mostly suicides and passing the ball, which Dean did good.
Hour two: kicking.
Hour three: break, where Dean made one friend named Benny and an enemy named Gavin and the players stared at the cheerleaders asses most of the time; Benny whistling whenever they would bend down.
Hour four: tackling.
And then the rest was to just go back to school and work on the stuff you missed. New people would find out if they made the team before they go home.
And guess who made the team.
As soon as Dean walked through the door he went straight to the kitchen to grab a drink and a snack, more like snacks.
"Did you make the team?!" Mary questioned, a grin on her face.
Dean wearily nodded, "Yeah, first game Friday."
"Yes!" Mary yelled, running into John's office to tell him the "good" news.
"So Dean, any cute cheerleaders?" Sam asked, and eyebrow raised and a smirk.
Dean shook his head, "Na, they were all too preppy and needy, you know? I'd rather have to sleep in the guys locker room than be with one of them."
Sam laughed and skipped out of the kitchen and to his bedroom.
Dean smiled and grabbed his own bag, going up the stairs to his room and letting his thoughts wonder through whatever door they pleased.
Then there came Castiel again. He ignored Dean more, sitting on the opposite side of whatever room they were forced to be in together. Dean has no idea why Cass is acting this way, with being more distant and less talkative; but he figures it's none of his business anyway. The last thing he needs in an angry guy on his ass again. Last year, it resulted in multiple bruises and cracked ribs, which took much more time than necessary to heal; and he was the school attention for those two weeks, a whole bunch of different rumors spreading.
At least Charlie came along and Dean had someone to hang out with for the remainder of the day.
