His eyes were completely shut and his legs were crossed, pressed against the hard chilling tiled floor. The entirety of the room was shrouded with a very calming tune that would put even the deepest of insomniacs into a good night's rest. The entire ambiance was one of peace and tranquillity. The man in this state of meditative euphoria was called Angel Lopez Panelli, a physical education and health instructor at one of the most prestigious academic establishments of the modern age, Carvin School Inc. Panelli was one with that which surrounded him, he would find peace in the most discordant of moments and would bring relief to those around him. Every single parent, teacher, custodian and student loved the guy, he was an icon for the people of the school and brought an additional layer of pride for anybody who was graced with the opportunity of having had their paths intersected by the finely aged man. From the outside looking in he lived the ideal life, being adored by his peers and disciples, living in constant peace without any disturbances and having a dream occupation many couldn't even fathom to own. Panelli was thought to be the pinnacle of mankind and was a role model to be followed.

Despite everything people thought and said about him he knew he had a crippling weakness. In the surface nobody ever noticed it , it was almost impossible for anyone to notice it really. But his Achilles' heel was one he carried around him every single day with a little dash of pride surprisingly enough. Panelli was a Hearthstone player. Not only a Hearthstone player, but a complete cash cow of a player. His colleagues had always admired his modesty and humility. Whenever Panelli invited them over to his house for a date worth of celebration they would always applaud the level of decency and simplicity his house had, it was a very simple place for such an extraordinary man. But the reality wasn't very apparent. Panelli didn't choose to live his in such standard manners. The sole reason he lived inside his one room apartment with nothing more than the bare facilities for a man to live his life was that he sunk almost every paycheck in their entirety inside his Blizzard account. Yes, that is our model man's one weakness: A children's card game.

Without him knowing he had been completely sucked in by his corporate overlords. What was once "a dollar here, a dollar there" quickly became into an insatiable hunger for more and more digital cards. When he first unboxed his first ever legendary he was ecstatic. He remembers it vividly, even more than he does the birth of his own son. Panelli was sitting on one of the various designer couches of his previously owned villa just trying out this new game that was recommended to him by an old acquaintance, Luis Arrigoitia. He was having a pleasant time, but nothing too extraordinary. Panelli graced through the tutorial without any difficulty, it was a kid's game afterall. After the completion of the tutorial he was handed a modest bundle of card packs to open as a reward for him sitting through with what the game had imposed onto him without him having much say in the matter. After opening the first couple of packs he wasn't impressed.

"¿Cinco blancos y un azul otra vez? Pal carajo con el jueguito esté, pa eso juego Fortnite."

He was roaring with laughter at the mediocre reward chances he was presented with. In his first four packs he was given nothing more than common garbage and a sprinkle of rares for him to feel like he actually gained something, in his mind it was completely pathetic. As he opened his last pack to not leave any loose ends before he deleted the game and move on with his busy day to day life he noticed something different. The last card he was about to reveal was glowing with a golden aura that was like nothing he had ever seen before. Without him realizing he was sweating profusely and trembling with anticipation at what was going to happen next. With a very gentle and almost aggressive press of his finger he clicked on the card to see what happened next. At this moment, he was hooked in. The entirety of the situation was otherworldly, it felt like he was having continuous vigorous orgasms one after the other as he scrolled through the cards he was given.

"OOOH, LEGENDARY"

The announcer shouted with only half the enthusiasm Panelli had. With a face of glee and a sense of accomplishment like he had never felt before in his relatively lenghty and hard earned life he looked at the card he was blessed with.

"Tirion Fordring, ocho mana, taunt, divine shield. Dethreidol: equip a five slash three atchbringer."

This was it. This was the pinnacle of Panelli's life. He had finally found the sole purpose for which he was put into this vivid and lively planet. Not to pass on his teaching to the new generations. Not to roam and explore every crevice of the diverse world. Not to raise his children and make his trophy wife proud and satisfied . It was to collect every single Hearthstone card and hit the only fabled position of Rank 1 Legend.
