Panelli heard the voice of a very charming and confident young lady with a noticeably thick British accent. He quickly opened his eyes to be greeted to a very well proportioned and sleek face looking straight at him. He jumped back in fear of being the test subject of a demonic experiment but when he cleared his view all he saw was a young damsel. The girl was roughly his same height with a very slender yet fit body figure. Her skin was a very pale lavender and her ears were pointy and broad. Both her eyes brows were enormous and extended way past her facial region, but the look really suited her face.
"Mind the intrusion fellow traveler, but my name is Elise Starseeker. I am a member of the League of Explorers and an apprentice in the arts of Druidic magic. I happened to be keeping an eye on you since you haven't budged for what feels like hours yet still exhibit reactions equal to those of living beings."
"May I ask so kindly, if you'd be comfortable in responding ofcourse, what is your name? And how exactly did one like you end up here in the Un'Goro crater?"
She interrogated Panelli with the obvious objective of finding out how he ended up in such a peculiar place and to see if he was doing alright. Panelli had little to no recollection of who he was or where exactly he was so he responded to the best of his abilities.
"Ehhhh, I do not know where I am. But my name is Angel Lopez Panelli, I remember I am a coach on de court and on de ... spiritual court."
Beyond this barebones explanation he didn't have anything else to add. He had forgotten exactly who he was but he had a very rough concept on what he did prior to his addiction. Panelli struggled to find out what he was addicted to but he knew that whatever it was it lead to his downfall and consequently to where he was found then and there.
"Interesting, so you say you dabble in the spiritual field right? Are you a worshipper? Priest? perhaps a warlock who wanders onto the macabre? Necromancy! That's your field of expertise, tell me my intuition is correct sir."
Elise interrogated him further, this time creeping deeper into his personal affairs as her curiosity was peaked the second he mentioned his association with the spiritual world, as she too studied the world of spirits and spectres. Panelli didn't know how to respond as all these terms and professions seemed completely foreign to him. He responded the best he could by reiterating.
"I am a coach of everything 'baloncesto' and energies. I am a student of doctor Joe Dispenser."
The kind night elf just stood there baffled at his response, she thought she must've scared him by the aggressiveness of her interrogation. She didn't know what to say next so she just formerly asked him to accompany her back to her camp. Panelli questioned himself on why she was being so overly apologetic and just agreed to follow her lead. As he grabbed her firm yet feminine hand and gained enough force to lift himself off the damp dirt he layed on he saw a clear view of the landscape which surrounded him. What he saw left him completely speechless and just staring with awe.
The horizon was filled with magnificent flora, enormous trees that peaked the clouds without any signs of stopping there, bountiful fluorescent moss that glowed in a variety of exotic colors, bizarre mushrooms and flowers like nothing he has ever witnessed before, it was a completely new world. As he stepped on the luscious emerald grass that adorned the rich soil he tried to gaze at everything that surrounded him.
"You truly aren't from around here are you? No worries, I will guide you back home with great precaution my newly found friend."
Elise mistook his faces of interest with ones of fear, but Panelli shrugged her words off as if they were being swept away by the very wind that fluttered the loose strands of hair that dangled off the back of her ears. The coach scanned every single peculiar rock formation as if he were a geologist rather than a scatter brained voyager. Elise could do nothing more than just observe how he ogled at every minute detail of the same landscape which she had been researching for a couple months now. She urged him to hurry by tugging on his tattered shirt but he refused to budge. She finally gave in and just let the trip back to the encampment be extended by as much time as he needed to grasp the entirety of the crater.
Almost at their destination they got intercepted by a couple of stumbling Ravasaur runts. Panelli felt his pupils shrink in fear as he saw two live dinosaurs right there in his face. Elise let out a weak chuckle as she would've never expected anybody to react the way he did, the little display of amusement was very uncharacteristic of the typically stern explorer, this accentuated just how unexpected his reaction was.
"They are completely inoffensive creatures, they're not even fully grown as a matter of fact. I'll explain this once so you can be at ease, but i'll let you know I figured out you're from nowhere near these parts so be careful. The Un'Goro crater is littered with a very diverse cast of reptiles and carnivorous plants. It is not uncommon for you to see what was commonly thought to be exclusively primitive animals. This paradigm of the anomalies of the world is a crater in which time is completely frozen yet steadily flowing. Here the prehistoric is... well... currently historic? Please ignore my laughable attempts at being modest with my expressions, but in all seriousness this place is no childish business."
Panelli was now a bit more relaxed. He leaned in to get a closer look at the little runts and was in clear disbelief. A land where the prehistoric flourished in the same way people do, the concept was too surreal to be true. The two feeble dinosaurs raised their awareness out of the blue. Panelli stood back as he thought they reacted to his intrusion of personal space, but Elise knew something much bigger was about to happen. The two runts dashed away into the bushes and the two explorers stood there bracing themselves for what was to come.
"GET DOWN EXPLORER!"
Elise shouted as to provoke Panelli to get down. Panelli did as fast as he could but his uproar brought more attention to them than he expected. Out of the shrubs came a dinosaur the size of a teenager. It was the same color of rusted iron bars with gleaming green eyes. It had a predatory stance and exhibited its sharp claws aggressively. It opened its mouth wide open letting out a high pitched screech as to assert its dominance, but that wasn't necessary as just showing off its razor like teeth was more than enough.
"That's a Devilsaur, a common predator around the crater, they barely show themselves out in the open like this so I haven't had to worry about them until now. It should be no problem as I can ward him off with my mache..."
As Elise reached for the hilt of her trusty machete she realized it must've fell somewhere along the way, this spelled trouble for our unlucky crew of travelers. Elise entered into a state of panic but tried to remain calm on the exterior as to not scare her momentary partner. She thought of a plan quickly but all the tools at her disposal were completely useless. Healing spells, curatives for all ailments one could imagine and assorted hiking equipment weren't going to cut it in this tight spot. She resorted to what she could only do in a time of desperation like this, pray for the goddess Elune for a way out. As the Devilsaur lunged itself at the defenseless explorers Panelli dove in to protect Elise as a last ditch effort of compensation for her taking guard of his lifeless body as he layed in the middle of this dangerous land for hours. The jaws of the monster extended around the entirety of Panelli's torso and he was ready to say goodbye to this world which he had known for less than a brief stroll and to the selfless woman who stood by his side while no one else did.
