"Wherever there is a queen there must be a king even mightier than herself to accompany her."

This was a passage Elise had read a while back on one of her Azeroth history books. It always rubbed her the wrong way how she was seen as an escort to a higher man. This unfairness at the core of modern society was one of the impulses that lead her to become an independent and prosperous adventurer, she wanted to prove everyone wrong and show them her true worth. She ranted to Panelli about this injustice but he really couldn't care less. Panelli weighed people on the merit of their actions, he judged their energies, not their genders.

As the two kept their steady journey into the nest of the queen of dinosaurs they just couldn't keep ignoring the looming presence that shadowed behind them.

"I know you mean no harm, I feel it in the way you approach us, but could you please just explain why it is that you are acting like we owe you something? It is really disturbing my flow of thoughts."

Elise had always known they were being tracked down but kept her quiet thinking it would go away when it noticed they weren't giving it any remote sort of attention. Elise turned her back to face their stalker as to provoke them into scramming. What Elise saw caught her interest more than anything she had seen for the past couple of weeks.

"You! You are! You're a Tol'vir! An animated golem forged by the hand of the titans who shaped Azeroth. You're quite the novelty, so what interests you about these two reckless wanderers?"

The quadruped golem carved of stone that had mossed and eroded terribly just stared blankly at the quirky elf, he understood her words but didn't desire to reciprocate the conversation. She just stared and blinked progressively, expecting a response from the silent sentient hunk of stone. All the little creatures from the surrounding area started to gather around the Tol'vir and our explorers could only watch in amazement at how they all saw it as a maternal figure. Panelli leaned in to see if they would attach to him in a similar way. He caressed the hatchlings with a very delicate grace, they really enjoyed his company.

"It is not often these little ones open up to anyone, you seem to be very amicable. I'm certain you are a summoner of spectacular magnitude, you just haven't realized it yet."

The Tol'vir had a very menacing and rigid voice, one expected of a watcher made to protect Azeroth, but it was apparent he was very delicate and careful when it cames to others besides himself.

"Do yu think sou? I can almost not even use magic the way its suppose. Yu think I can make dese animals my frends?"

"Almost certain with a bit of effort you can wield their company with an unmatched sense of control. Try and befriend these hatchlings, they've already grown attached to your fondness of their well-being."

Panelli trusted his words but didn't even know how to start the bonding ritual. He tried to ask Elise how he should start the ceremony as privately as possible to hide his apparent incompetence of magical knowledge from the Tol'vir, this plan backfired magnificently as Panelli is very loud mouthed and seemed like he shouted instead of whispering.

"No need to mask your weaknesses, asking for help is the way to hammer these out and make you a better wielder of the arts. I will show you the fundamentals of taming and summoning, just make sure to pay close attention as to not repeat myself unnecessarily."

The Tol'vir extended its arms and closed its eyes, this was seen as an act of reverence by the animals so they closed in on him. Once close enough both parties felt at peace with one another, a mutual understanding between species. Once the bond was felt by both sides the Tol'vir widened its eyes and released a burst of magic, he casted a summoner's circle around the beasts and these complied with the act. The earth beneath their feet glowed with a roaring green aura and the two's magical auras merged into one, the taming process was completed and now the Tol'vir had acquired the summoning rights of these creatures.

"It is much more simple than you believe paladin of tomorrow, it is a mutual exchange of one's aura, both sides consent and everything flows accordingly. There are a basic set of rules I must explain beforehand though. First of all, both creature and summoner must consent, if any of the two desires to break the pact halfway they are in their full right to do so. In the same vein not every creature will comply to be your ally and may use the bonding ritual as a mean to attack you while you're vulnerable. These are the rules of the taming ritual. Once a creature is tamed then it is open to be summoned. When a creature is in your summoning pool then you are able to cast a copy of its spirit imbued with a portion of your mana to fight for you. You might only cast two clones of a certain creature per solar cycle so be weary of overusing summons. Lastly, the stronger a creature's spirit the more mana it will drain from you to cast a copy to fight for you, these copies are completely subservient to your commands and are willing to die for you because they are a replication of your own free will. These will not damage the father of the summons as these are mimicking their abilities and traits, not bringing them into combat per se."

Panelli was visibly overwhelmed but was certain he would get the grasp of it in due time. He tried to kneel over towards the runt in an effort to transfer his positive vibes onto him so they would accept them as their master.

"One last detail sir, not every creature is compatible with one's aura. My glow was a verdant green, a representation of my assigned holy class, Hunter. Your class is evidently Paladin and only neutral summons or paladin summons will heed to your calling. Each creature has an aura to them too, you must find those who share the same aura as you do, or if they have a grey aura that means they are neutral and free to bond which whoever they please."

Panelli was almost ready to give up with the summoners business but Elise gave him a very simple and warm smile that just shouted "Everything will be okay, you can do this!" which gave him the push he needed for him to continue pursuing the path of a tamer. Panelli was ready to attempt his first taming ritual.

Panelli kneeled completely against the mossy ground of the grove they found themselves in, he closed his eyes as if he was ready to commit to a long session of meditation and channeled his energies towards the tips of his fingers. He emanated a golden shine which was comparable to that of The Light. The runts around him glimmered with clouded auras that varied between the spectrum of green and gray. Panelli could sense which of these meant serious business and those who only peeked at him for the curiosity of the stranger's presence. Panelli could also feel which were open to his class only from the vibes they emanated. He focused profusely on getting everything right but the trust these animals had entrusted onto him quickly faded and between them they mocked him without mustering a single word, it was obvious they parodied his sorry attempts at bonding with them. Panelli felt defeat in its rawest form, getting clowned by little reptiles he could crush beneath his feet.
