Dear Ember Cardilia Helberg,

My phone has already forgotten how your name spells, but I haven't. It's ironic how the Ember who loved life, was betrayed by it.

So, how have you been?
I can't believe that I'm writing this.
It's like we are both watching the same dream
Where we are the dream and you are the wish.

I just need to strain
my ears and I can hear you
I can still hear you and I'm not insane
I know you are around me; you're just a heartbeat away.

When you are not here
It's really suffocating and lonely because I still your voice behind my bicycle as I paddle
I bet they'd laugh at me if I
tell them I miss you and I fear
that I might forget you again but I won't
You've left behind so many small things that I can't undo my memories

Because I can still remember your scent on my lips
I can still love you

I'm rushing through seasons
To bring back spring
The spring that brought a poisonous flower named Ember to me and winter that made it wither and autumn took it away

But spring always forgets to bring you back with it
Time will command her

It would be good if you were here
Spring is coming
And nobody can stop it, not even you

I visited your grave today, it's still covered with autumn leaves. Leaves of sweet autumn clematis that I had grown

The oak pollen has began to shed
I still paint the entire day
The world still runs the same way

But
You are not here
Though you did it
You touched my heart, you grabbed it
You squeezed it
And you left it
But you taught it how to beat again

Someone who was about to die taught me how to live
And now I will teach the living how to love and I will paint a magic that you deserve

Because some people are artists
While some are art themselves
Though you were a magical spell this world never deserved
But I've known you and now you just have to sit back and observe
