21 | it's your debut day

Mark decided to stay over at Donghyuck's house so that it would be easier for him to just go with Donghyuck to the music bank.

Mark woke up first and looked at the time. It was 5 in the morning.

"It's still 2 hours early," Mark mumbled.

They were told to be early so that they can get ready for the day and for their live performance.

He got up and walked to the bathroom. He looked at himself in the mirror. His hair was a mess. He fixed it up a bit but it was still pretty messy.

Mark suddenly heard a knock on the door. He opened it and saw a sleepy Donghyuck standing there. He was rubbing his eyes.

"Why are you awake?" Donghyuck asked in a soft sleepy voice.

"I don't know I'm just excited for the live stage," Mark said. Donghyuck walked closer to Mark. He threw his arms around Mark and hugged him tightly.

"Can you go back to bed with me at least," Donghyuck mumbled. Mark smiled and nodded his head. He lifted up Donghyuck and took him to bed.

Donghyuck was hugging Mark the whole time. They both ended up falling asleep again. They remained like that for a while until the alarm woke them both up.

Mark was the first to wake up again. He turned off the alarm and shook Donghyuck.

"Wake up! We gotta get ready for the live stage!" Mark said excitedly. Donghyuck let out a soft giggle.

"Ok ok. I'm up!" Donghyuck sat up and looked at Mark with a smile.

"I'm gonna go take a shower first," Mark said. He stood up and walked to the bathroom. Donghyuck smiled.

"I've never seen anyone this excited to debut," Donghyuck said.

It was true. He would just see people get nervous about debuting and after performing they would be excited. As for Donghyuck he was also extremely nervous to debut.

Donghyuck was drinking a bunch of water. He was walking back and forth backstage. He was trying to distract himself from being so nervous.

"Donghyuck. You're next! No need to be nervous. You have a bunch of fans already!" His manager told him. Donghyuck simply shook his head.

"Haechan. You may now go up on the stage," The announcers said. Donghyuck took a deep breathe and walked up on stage.

His hands were shaking. He was already sweating and he felt cold. He looked at the crowd. There were a bunch of people cheering his name. Donghyuck was happy that he had gotten fans already but that wasn't going to stop him from being nervous.

"H-Hello! My name is Haechan," Donghyuck bowed in front of the crowd. The crowd got even louder. Donghyuck softly smiled.

He needed someone to calm his nerves. Someone next to him to pat his back and whisper telling him that he's alright and that he could do this.

He hoped that it was Taeil patting his back and telling him encouraging words but no one was next to him.

"H-How are you guys doing?" Donghyuck asked. Donghyuck couldn't hear well just a bunch of cheering.

They told Donghyuck that he could start the performance. Donghyuck got into his pose. The music started playing and like that Donghyuck started performing.

At the end of the performance everybody obviously cheered for him. He smiled and waved at them. He walked off the stage.

The minute he got off stage he started crying.
