23 | same nightmare

"I'm sorry. I can't stay in this company anymore," Taeil said. He walked out the door. He left Donghyuck alone.

Donghyuck tried to stop him from leaving but something was holding him back. It was the company.

The setting suddenly changed. Donghyuck was now backstage. He looked around and noticed the crowd cheering his name.

Several fans holding banners up and waving light sticks.

He looked down at his outfit. He was wearing his debut outfit. He started shake out of fear. He hated this feeling. Feeling so scared to be up on stage.

Someone pushed him up on stage. Once he stood on stage he looked around at everyone that was cheering his name.

He slowly held the mic up to his mouth. He tried to speak but no words came out. He looked again at the crowd and noticed them slowly getting quiet.

Banners slowly lowering down and light sticks slowly going out one by one.

He then bursted into tears on stage. Everyone was watching him cry but did nothing.

If only he was in a group. A member there to take care of him. That's all he wanted. That was the main reason for him to become an idol.

Donghyuck suddenly woke up. He looked around the room and sees that he's in his room.

He started getting this nightmares after his debut stage. Although his debut stage went well he was always scared that something like that would happen.

He slowly got up and got out of his room. He looked around his room and saw Mark laying down on the couch. He was dead asleep.

Donghyuck softly smiled and laid down right next to him. He cuddled close him.

"I wish I debuted with you," Donghyuck whispered.

Donghyuck was 12 when he said he wanted to become an idol. He would watch tv and get so mesmerized by everyone singing and dancing.

He also loved how all the members would interact with each other and make each other laugh. All the members supporting each other.

He wanted to be up there with his group. His members supporting him and making him laugh. He wanted friends.

He told his mother about being an idol but she would rather him be a doctor or a lawyer.

He begged to her every night but she still wouldn't say anything.

Since then Donghyuck was determined to become an idol and be able to have those friends that had the same hopes and dreams as him.

"Hey Dongfuck!" A kid yelled at him. Donghyuck didn't say anything. He continued and went to class. He went to his seat and sat in the back of class.

When the teacher was turned around and facing the board. Kids would throw paper balls at him. He hated it.

"What a loser," A kid yelled.

"Who would want to be friends with him," Another kid laughed.

Donghyuck had no friends at school. No one there to help. Until he went to high school. Once he got to high school, he was still pretty alone.

Except for one kid who noticed Donghyuck all lonely.

"Hey! My name is Jeno!" He said. Donghyuck looked up at him and gave him a soft smile.
