Ramirez and Elena looked at eachother, before walking into the room with Doc, where they saw many faces from many places. "I believe I see why it is called Team Rainbow." He muttered, taking a seat where Doc gestured he should. A ginger-haired woman, who he would later know as Ash, stood up, and began speaking.
"Alright, everyone. These, are our two newest members. Codenames Jackal, and Mira. Jackal will be primarily working with the attackers, to aid in tracking, and intercepting terrorists, as well as any shipments or convoys the White Masks may use to deliver chemical agents or explosives." Ramirez truly did not like the number of stares he was getting from the rest of the team, as he waited for the attention to shift to Elena.
"Mira will be working with our defensive operators. She will be exceptionally helpful when it comes to situations where we must protect our assets, or keep a bomb safe once we have intercepted it, using some proprietary technology she developed. Furthermore, she will be working with some of you to further enhance, or even create gadgets." Unlike Elena's male counterpart, she responded to the stares with a smile and a wave.
Doc was paying attention to the conversations at hand, as people began greeting and talking to their newest recruits, however he was also reading the medical and psychological reports, as per his job. He had read Elena's first, finding parts of it quite sad, however, it brought a small smile to his face seeing her ability to overcome. He set the file down before opening the next one, his smile dropping very, very quickly. Orphaned almost immediately, 17 years of abusive foster homes, only have his saving grace who got him out, his brother, killed? He continued reading down the report, noting a few things to keep in mind in particular. 'A large amount of scar tissue could lead to sudden pains, seemingly for no reason..' He sighed heavily as he kept reading. 'Chronic insomniac, obsessed with patterns and tracking the man who killed his brother, isn't equipped to let a target go..' His brown eyes glanced over to Ramirez, who was now smiling and shaking the hand of one the older members of Team Rainbow, Thatcher.
