Doc waved Jackal over to him gently, before patting his back a bit. "As is turns, Monsieur, there was no time to prepare for your arrival, however, my house has a guest bedroom you are welcome to have." A little smile followed the words. He wanted the man to feel welcome. Gustave couldn't imagine what it would be like to join Team Rainbow now that there are so many members. When he started this job, there were four Americans, four Germans, four French, four Brits, and four Russians. Now they had members not only from places like Canada but places like Brazil!
Jackal was actually a bit relieved that if something like this was going to happen, that it would happen with Doc. "That.. should be fine." He still struggled to find his words a bit. The man smiled back, actually feel just a little contented not being home. Well.. actually he supposed this was home now. Jackal heard his name from across the room, from that ginger-haired lady, Ash.
"There's still a lot for you to do until you get settled down, Ramirez." Calling Jackal by his real name was her attempts at calming him down a bit. Fine, he was still calm technically speaking, someone in G.E.O. would never lose their cool, however it was still clear he wasn't comfortable with his situation. "You need to get your weapons kitted out, so they can be as efficient as possible. if you keep going down this hallway," she pointed out the door. "Then go right, you should see a small banner with two crossed swords. Inside that room, there are lockers and an armoury. There should be a locker with your name on it. Inside that, will be your fatigues, and any other gear you might need that isn't out of the ordinary. Should you need anything else, you'll find it in the armoury. Make sure you report to us what you are taking."
"I'll do that right away, Senora Ash." Jackal responded, politely bowing a bit. He walked off out of the room and to the armoury, hearing footsteps behind him. He smiled a bit and without turning around said. "Elena, you're welcome to follow me. I imagine you also need to get your weapons all.. sorted out." He said.
Elena chuckled. Of course, he knew it was her, just from the footsteps. She had never met a man with such an eye.. and ear for detail such as Jackal. "What sort of guns do they want you using?" She questioned, as Jackal picked up a long rifle.
"I think I am going to like this gun!" He smiled, a big smile, eying the rifle. He began aiming with the rifle at the wall, before setting it back down and beginning to adjust it. A vertical grip, an ACOG scope carefully places on the top of the gun, then lastly, he placed a compensator at the end of the gun. Lastly, he placed a strap on the rifle, make sure he could comfortably place it on his back. He would enjoy shooting this gun in practice tomorrow.
His USP40 needed no changes, it would serve its purpose just fine, frankly. Next, well Elena walked off to see to her own weapons, Jackal used the little ID card he was given to open his locker. Ash hadn't been kidding, that really was everything he could need. Although he wasn't looking forward to trying to move anything in the tightly compacted locker.
"I suppose I head back now, or maybe follow Doc?" He shook his head. There was so much to take in, he found himself rather confused again. He could swear, his survival training wasn't as stressful as this.
However, yet again, a familiar French accent clouded the air. "Jacka- I mean, Ramirez, I'm going home now, you already have a vehicle however if you'd like a ride, you are welcome to come with me. I know that driving is different in Spain than here, so it'll take some time getting used to." Ash had told him to call Jackal by his real name to make him more comfortable, and only call him by his operator name during operations and situations.
Jackal nodded a bit. "I.. that would be nice, gracias, Senor Gustave" He couldn't take trying to say everything in English yet. Frankly, he didn't know how any of the operators who weren't from English speaking countries stood it! It felt so strange on your tongue.
Doc grinned a bit. Senor Gustave? He could get used to that. "Follow me, then" He began walking outside the building to his car. "It won't take us long to get there."
Jackal awkwardly got into the passenger seat, initially getting on the wrong side of the car. "Qué idiota hace un auto de esta manera?" He mumbled gently.
"I don't know what idiot makes a car this way." Doc smiled at Jackal's surprise that he could speak Spanish. Doc had known how for quite a long time, given the expensive private schooling he had to endure from his parents, he could speak an array of languages. Doc started the car and began driving.
