"I'd like to see how the London nightlife is here in this year." Susan said, and then thanked her lucky stars that Peter hadn't noticed she had said 'this year'.
"I'm actually sort of tired... " Lucy said, with the air of not wanting to say it but her innate nature forcing her to. "But I still want to go!"
"I can stay back with you, Lu." Sanya said, sitting down on a bench. She felt exhausted and all her bones hurt. "I don't mind staying back, I'm tired too."
"It won't be the same without you!" Haz said at once. "I want my girlfriend there."
Edmund shared a quick-as-lightning look with Sanya, which no one else noticed. Girlfriend?
"You can't very well drag her along to a nightclub when she's feeling ill just because you're clingy, Lockhart." Edmund said, coming to how-to the mother of his child's defence.
"It's fine." Sanya said, though she didn't get up. "Might help me sleep better if I was MORE exhausted."
"Are you really sure?" Lilith asked, doublechecking.
Sanya nodded and Tom flipped his phone out to call his brothers to wherever Haz decided to take them.
"Phonox. We'll head over there when you lot FINALLY finish painting your faces. It's a personal favourite- very dark and a lot of people- not sure what more you could want." Haz called through the door of where Lilith had called from behind, asking WHERE they're actually going.
The boys had now been locked out of Tom's bedroom for an hour as the girl's got ready, Susan insisting they go 'all out' for their first London night out.
"Lu- where did you put that lipstick?"
"Could someone zip me up?"
"Where IS the brush?"
"Oh- am I going to regret heels? Probably..."
"Could you lot come ON!" Edmund's voice groaned through the door, quite relieved when it finally opened.
"Hold your horses, your sisters were attacking me!" Sanya said crossly as she came out, hands crossed over her bump.
"My sisters don't attack." Peter said in an injured tone as Edmund tripped.
"Do you ALWAYS fall down when you see me?" She quirked her eyebrow at him, steadying him. She was wearing a low cut baggy sleeveless black top with a lacy heart neckline and a leather jacket (Tom's) on top of it. She refused to part with her usual jeans, despite Lucy even crying for her to.
Haz's mouth was agape as well. "I don't think I've ever seen you... with makeup and sober."
Both their eyes were NOT at her face or stomach- pregnancy and its side effects- so she waited and stared pointedly at them for a second before they both cleared their throats and looked up.
"You look gorgeous." Haz said as he moved closer to her.
"Absolutely lovely." Ed's eyes danced with joy as he took in the fact that she looked happy as well, despite her sure discomfort with the makeup. "You feel alright?"
"Well, I don't!" Lilith grumbled as she came out. "I can appreciate making myself up, but your sisters are- what's wrong, Peter?"
"Nothing." He attempted a quick recovery. "You just- I'm just glad at least my sister's bought outfits that-"
"That what?" She replied, enjoying his torment.
"That- are... whole?" He decided was the only wording he dared use.
