"You shouldn't be staying out till 1 am, it's not safe." Peter said as she shut the door softly and locked it.
Sanya was momentarily startled but then she shrugged, "I was only outside till evening, then we were in b- in his house."
"Still." The Magnificent said, crossing his arms. "Haz drop you?"
"Yeah."  She nodded before asking a question of her own, throwing her coat on the sofa. "Why are you still up?"
"Because I want to talk to you- man to man." Sanya raised an eyebrow at that and he quickly added, "You know what I mean."
"Fine but I'm tired AND irritated now." She rolled her eyes, feeling something flame up inside her. "What about?"
"Ed, of course. And Susan and Haz too, to a certain degree. What else?" He rolled his own eyes but before he could continue, Sanya exploded.
"What ELSE?" She almost shouted, but not quite though for she didn't want to wake anyone up. "You REALLY think I've nothing else in my life other than whom to be with or have feelings for, you- you dick."
"Well, NO. But it's not right... having 3 people wrapped around your little finger like you do. I'm sorry, Sanya- I couldn't give toss about Haz- but Ed and Su- c'mon, I mean- you're pregnant with Ed's child!" He replied, walking to meet her in the kitchen, also attempting to avoid waking anyone.

Sanya had never ever thought there would EVER come a day when someone was interested in her. Hell, she had spent over an hour in the washroom after she had got her first kiss, depressed because Peter had been drunk and it had been a dare, and not one based on feelings.
"Huh." The sudden realisation came over her. Even when Ed and she WERE dating... she had been surprised every time he had even held her hand. With Peter, she hadn't even ever entertained the notion that he could like her. Haz...  well, she just supposed he liked the way she was different and would get tired soon. Susan... she just missed Caspian, and was channelling those feelings into an interest for her. "They DO all like me, don't they?"
Peter stared at her as if she'd only just realised she was human, "Well, yes." He replied, growing quite frustrated, "And you're seriously messing them about! So what're you going to do about it?"
"I don't know." She said in a young voice- and it hit Peter that she was second to youngest of them all- and was technically a child. Not technically, she WAS a child. "I- don't know." Then she did something no one should ever do, usually.

She asked for Peter's advice. "What do YOU think I should do?"
Now it was Peter's turn to feel lost.
"I- well- choose one?" He replied, suddenly feeling very unsure, the situation alien to him.
Preferably choose Ed, he added mentally, but kept that to himself. "I don't know. But you CAN'T keep doing this." He spoke, draining the frustration to his voice. He wanted to help, he really did- yet the Magnificent was lost for how.

"I didn't even know I was." Sanya said in a uncomfortably quiet voice. "Susan and I talked about it, she understands... everything. Haz and I aren't even dating, really- you know...  what's it called- a 'casual thing'. And Edmund and I- well, apart from our baby, it's been platonic, at least for me on the surface."
It was then that she wondered why she was spilling everything to Peter, of all people.
The once High King panicked internally as she opened up to him, before reminding himself he'd managed to get to 35 with two sister who were NOT shy with admirers and their own drama- what's one more?

He sat down at the small table in the corner, pushing the opposite chair out for her with his foot.
"Then- I suppose Ed's off the table." He narrowed their list down, not being able to feel like he was betraying his brother slightly, "Su and Haz though- do you- well, do you LOVE either of them? Who makes you happier?"
"I don't love either of them." THAT much she was sure of as she accepted the seat. "Su- do you REALLY want to hear this?" She added, uncomfortable as well because they both knew that both were NOT the open type.
Peter really didn't, but he nodded.
"Susan reminds of... stability. And warmth, I guess. Like family and that there is something to return home to after a bad day. And she's gorgeous." Sanya wished more than ever that she was asleep. "Haz makes me laugh and feel alive, feel like I can take on the world, which I don't want to but you get it. But I don't love them, obviously, I love-" she clamped up right then, realising she had made her decision and not liking it.
He gave her a look, which, in the simplest way, said 'speak the name or this conversation may never end and I WILL kill myself', consisting of a slight tilt of the head and raised eyebrow- clearly pleased she'd come to a decision.
"Out what it is and then you can't run from it." He told her, crossing his arms as she made to leave. "I don't CARE what the answer is, say the name."
For half a moment, she was tempted to say 'Harry Potter' or something else which would equally enrage Peter more but she honestly just wanted to go to sleep and was sure he was sleep deprived alsonand would hopefully  forget it in the morning.
"Edmund. Happy?"
He nodded, standing and stepping back to clear her path, "Very. Now sleep, it's late." He spoke, turning to get a glass of water before realising he WASN'T talking to Lucy, nor either of his other siblings that matter, and braced himself for a slap that his near-order would more likely earn him.
But he didn't get slapped, much to his surprise.
What he DID get was Sanya glaring at him horrifically and hissing in a very Voldemort voice, "DON'T order me around and don't even THINK about all I told you near Edmund or I swear..."
He raised his hands in surrender and turned to her, "Not a word- to anyone, I swear."
