Chapter 10 - Chika's Idol

As Aquors and Saint Snow approach the graves of Honoka and Tsubasa. Chika's mad dash annoyed Umi. The others decided to just walk to avoid getting the ire of the current visitors. Umi stands up and waits for Chika to come to a halt. The rest of Aquors are just waiting for what is going to happen once she stops.

As soon as Chika stops she gets a hard slap on the face from Umi. The others could only watch in shock to what she did.

Chika: (shocked from the impact of the slap) Ouch! Uh excuse me ma'am...... What was that for?

Umi: That is for running in a cemetery. And what you did is shameless.

You: I told you not to run Chika. Jeez...... (facepalm)

Kotori: Pardon the action of my wife. She's just sensitive about people running in the cemetery.

Riko: (notices Muse and A-RISE together) Wait...... Is this for real?

Dia: M-Muse and A-ARISE together!! (about to faint)

Maki: (facepalm) Jeez...... Even though you have become school idols yourselves. There is still the fan girl in you.

Kanan: Please pardon the action of our friend. She really wanted to visit the graves of Honoka-san and Tsubasa-san. When she watched the news of her idol's death. It really got her devastated.

Eli: I see...... Looks like we're not the only ones who got affected by Honoka's death.

Maki: But that was 10 years ago.

Mari: Yes that was 10 years ago. She only chose to visit now because she had to finish college first before going here.

Nico: Based on the information I searched about you girls. You all decided to disband after winning Love Live. Am I correct?

Dia: Yes that's correct. We won Love Live. But we failed to prevent our school from closing down.

Chika: In the end our school got merged with it's sister school in Numazu.

Hanayo: I want to ask you Chika-san. Why did you idolized Honoka-chan and decided to form your own school idol group?

Chika: It all started fifteen years ago. We had a school trip in Tokyo. Me and You roamed the streets of Akihabara. We were so amazed at how beautiful and big Tokyo is. Then there was this girl who is wearing a maid's uniform that approached us.

Flashback: 15 years ago, five years after Muse disbanded and all members are in college.

Chika: Wow!!! I never thought that Akihabara would be this amazing. And Tokyo is a big city.

You: Chika...... You shouldn't be running away from the group like that.

Suddenly a girl dressed up as a maid appears before them and hands them a flyer.

Girl: Hi there. Please come and check out our cafe.

Chika: It's a new one huh?

Suddenly a gentle breeze blows away the girl's flyers and scatters it on the ground. Chika helps the girl pick up the flyers and hands it to her. The wind blows again and sends one of the flyers to another location. The kept blowing it every time Chika would reach for it. When it finally stopped blowing. The flyer landed in front of the UTX Academy building. Chika stares at the electronic billboard for a few seconds. Within a few more seconds the blank screen turns on and starts to play a video of Muse wearing their uniforms and performing "Start Dash" in the Otonokizaka High School auditorium.

Chika gets awed by the video and makes a decision to become a school idol herself and form her own group. But she knows that it's not going to be easy as it seems. She will learn it the hard way.

Chika: And that's how I began idolizing Honoka-san. That's how I want to become a school idol back then.

Hanayo: I see...... You girls weren't able to get a single vote on your first try. Right?

Mari: Yes they didn't. At that time there was only six of them. Me, Dia, and Kanan only joined them after they learned why Dia and Kanan doesn't want to become school idols again.

Nico: According to my research you three were the original Aquors.

Kanan: Yes we are the original Aquors. But we immediately disbanded after our first attempt at Love Live.

Kotori: How come? Why did you three disbanded?

Dia: When Mari suffered a sprain. Kanan knew that it was impossible for her to dance. So she took it upon herself to decide that once we get on stage. We wouldn't sing and dance. And then Kanan learned that Mari is going to be sent by her family to study over seas.

Kotori: Please don't continue with that story. It will only remind me of the same thing that happened to me 20 years ago.

Umi: Kotori-chan...... I'm sorry but I have to agree with my wife. Your friend's dilemma fifteen years ago and my wife's dilemma twenty years ago are almost similar.

Rin: By the way...... Aren't you two Saint Snow?

Sarah: Yes that's us.

Nozomi: Based from what I've heard your group has been considered a prodigy of A-RISE.

Anju: I have read about the comparison between them and us. You girls were tagged as our prodigy.

Sarah: Yes that's true. But we didn't made it to the top 30 on our first try as well.

Leah: However on our second try. We failed to get past the regionals after I fell on the stage. If if wasn't for Ruby-chan. I would have continued to pin the blame on myself.

Maki? Why is that?

Leah: It's because of the thought that I will never be able to perform with my sister again after she graduated from high school.
