As the four former school idol groups continue to reminisce about the days when they were still popular. A rivalry between two top schools in Tokyo will soon repeat itself. Within a few days the new organizers of Love Live decide to make a grand comeback after a 10 year hiatus. Just like the previous competitions. It will be two editions in one year. This time they named the two editions after the first two original winners A-RISE's and Muse's leaders and centers.
The first edition which is held every March will be named the Tsubasa Kira Memorial Edition. And the second one which is held every October is named the Honoka Kousaka National Cup. Emails have been sent to all schools that have participated in the previous competitions as well as those are beginning to form their own.
UTX Academy is the first to receive the email. Otonokizaka High School was the second one to receive the email. Soon other schools begin to receive emails from the Love Live organizers. Many of them were ecstatic as finally the long wait for a new Love Live competition is about to happen again. The organizers themselves are second and third generation of Love Live organizers.
It's official website has been revived and refurbished. The videos of previous Love Live participants were uploaded once again. Many of which were songs from Muse and Aquors. Even those of A-RISE and Saint Snow were uploaded again. They retained the old logo and its color. Then gave it a more brighter background highlighted by mini pictures of previous winners.
They designated different stages but allowed the groups to choose a different stage outside of what is designated. This means they can use another school as a stage. Just like the previous Love Live competitions. None could be more happy with the return of Love Live than the groups of UTX Academy and Otonokizaka High School. And two new leaders and centers will be become rivals.
But what makes this long awaited return of Love Live is the naming of the editions after Tsubasa Kira and Honoka Kousaka. Kira, leader and center of the first Love Live winner A-RISE was known to quickly distinguish a wannabe from a contender. They're the only school idol group that has shown much interest in Muse. And has given more compliments to Honoka than the rest of Muse.
Kousaka on the other hand is the leader of Muse. A girl who is more known for her limitless energy. And for being optimistic and always moving forward. Her qualities as a leader and center almost carried Muse to the finals of the first edition. But unforseen circumstances causes them to pullout and nearly disband. But they pulled through in the second edition and made it all the way to the finals. They were crowned as the new champions after edging out A-RISE in the preliminary finals.
Another thing about the return is that it falls on the same date when it started. The timing of the comeback on the day when it first began was just fitting. An interesting note to the return of Love Live is that it will have a promotional concert that will feature all the previous winners. And this will be held on the day Muse first performed on stage. A group that started as a three member unit.
Meanwhile back at the cemetery. The four former school idol groups are now leaving after paying their respects to the fallen leaders and centers. As Hanayo Hoshizora is about to enter the car. Her phone receives an email from the Love Live organizers. And just like when she was a school idol. Her reaction to the news is the same.
Hanayo: Is this really happening?!!! This is big!!!
Umi: Hanayo-chan what is it?
Nico: Don't tell me that Love Live is happening again.
A-RISE, Aquors, and Saint Snow: What?!!!
Anju: Love Live is happening again after 10 years?!!!
Hanayo: Yes it is happening again. And they are asking all the previous winners to perform in a promotional concert. And the day of the concert falls on the day Muse first performed back then when it was Honoka-chan, Kotori-chan, and Umi-chan only.
Umi: But if we're going to perform with eight members only. Who is going to be our ninth member? And it's been 20 years since we all agreed to disband after winning Love Live.
Kotori: I don't know if I can find time to make the costumes since I am the chairwoman of Otonokizaka High School now.
Chika: I need to get back into tiptop shape.
You: I haven't designed any costumes since we disbanded ourselves.
Sarah: I better start working out.
As all four ex school idol groups head off to their respective destinations, another school idol group from Otonokizaka is going to be together again on the stage.
Alisa: Yukiho-chan have you heard the news?
Yukiho: Yeah I saw it on the website.
Alisa: I can't believe that Love Live is happening again after 10 years.
Yukiho: And they invited all past winners to perform in a promotional concert.
Alisa: What are we going to sing?
Yukiho: I don't know. But it's too risky to sing a new song.
Somewhere inside the UTX Academy building.
Tsubaki: "So it begins again after 10 years huh. I hope she changes her mind and decides to become a school idol like her parents. Haruka-chan...... Please change your mind. I want to know if you have the same passion your parents had for Love Live."
