NOAH
With all of the excitement at lunch, nothing seems to happen the rest of the day. Weird. Other than all the talk about how Aria got her butt handed to her in the cafeteria, the normal gossip and conversations filtered through the school.
Joey, one of the guys on the baseball team approached the table.
"Hey. Noah, you comin' to the party?"
"Party?" I asked. I hadn't heard anything about a party.
"Yeah. Dawn Trevor's having a huge one tonight. Her parents went to Egypt or something." Joey stated. I nodded my head in understanding. Dawn was the school'a wild child, the party girl. Her parents were LOADED and were always off on some exotic trip or get away. They made it up to there only daughter by giving her free reign to do whatever the hell she wanted. Just as Joey spoke, Dawn bounded up behind her.
"Hey Noah! Comin' to my party? It's gonna be my biggest yet! Our whole school and half of Lincoln High is coming! You gotta be there! Well, catcha later!" Squeaked Dawn quickly. She was always the first one to talk and the last to shut up. She was a nice girl, but you could never get a word in edgewise with her. I chuckled, shaking my head at her peppiness.
"Dude, you coming or not?"
"Count me in."

AVA
"No! I don't wanna go! Don't do this Kaylee!!" I screeched as she tried to stuff my into some slutty, gold, sparkly dress.
"C'mon, Ava!" Kaylee sighed, exasperated. "I want to go to one, just one, party in my high school career, and this party is the one to go to! Everyone will be there!"
"All the more reason not to go. Kay-lee! Please?" I asked with big doe eyes.
"No. We are going if I have to tie you down, dress you up, and drag you kicking and screaming." Kaylee stated, nodding her head, turning and stomping to her closet to find something 'appropriate' to wear. Appropriate meaning short enough. I trailed after her into the closet.
"Please, please, please, can we not go?" I asked her softly. "We can stay here and watch movies. I'll even watch a horror movie with you if we don't have to go." I said in the same soft tone
Too bad it didn't work.
"You at not going to hide behind that shy frontier forever, Ava." Kaylee said.
"Doesn't mean I can't try." I muttered, walking away, knowing that no amount of pleading or begging would change my stubborn friend's mind
