NOAH
She looked surprised to see me. Her eyes got big and in the dim light, sparkled. Where did this romantic crap come from? A small part of me wondered. Who cares? She looks good! The rest of me screamed.
"N-Noah?" She asked me.
"Yeah babe?" I fired back at her. Ohh, my flirting was on tonight! Wait, why was I flirting with Ava, I liked Amanda. Or was it Anna? Oh! It's Aria, duh. So many A names.
She peered up at me shyly through her lashes, and I winked sexily at her. I grabbed her waist and leaned in close.
"C'mon, dance with me." I whispered.
"I-I, um, I don't know how." she stuttered softly to me.
"What do you mean you don't know how?" I asked, shocked. With a body like hers, she was made to dance.
"I,uh, just n-never learned?" She guessed. I chuckled. I thought everyone learned how to dance.
"Well then, sweetheart, Imma teach you how to dance." I said. I slipped my hand onto her waist, and guided her hand onto my shoulder.
"Isn't this the, uh, the wrong sort of dance?" She asked me. I chuckled.
"I wanted to start with something slow, but we can do more of what your thinkin, if ya wanna." I chuckled, and her blush matched her friends dress. I pulled her in close, and started to softly sway side to side. The song was too loud and the dance floor was too crowded but that really didn't matter. Ava relaxed against me, and I could feel her sigh.
"This is nice." she mumbled to me. I grinned.
"So how come I've never seen you at a party before?" I asked her. She blushed again and bit her lip.
"I, uh, I'm not much one for the party scene." she said.
"What?"
"I don't like parties. Or crowds for that matter." she stated.
"Oh." I responded stupidly.
"Yeah." she giggled. I liked her giggle. It was nice.
"Thanks."
"Uh, what?" I asked
"You said my giggle was nice. So, um, thanks."
"I said that out loud?" I asked.
"Yep." she replied quickly.
"I must have had more drinks than I thought." I mumbled, confused.
"What time is it?" Ava asked, looking around nervously.
"Ummmm, I don't know. Lemme check my phone. " I pulled out my phone, turned it on, then blinked. I pulled it close to my face, then away, but I still couldn't see the time.
"I think my clock is mocking me." I said, ashamed. My clock always liked me before.
"Oh, honey, you really must be drunk. Let me see your phone." She grabbed it out of my hands and the floor started to spin. I focuses on her face and the world slowly stopped spinning.
"It's already two. I should get going." she muttered.
"Well at-at least I know Cindy, er, Cinderella's name before she goes dashing off and losing her shoe." I said. Dude, you need to shut up and sleep. My brain said to me. Said. Whoa, how weird. My brain usually doesn't talk to me. My phone was slipped back into my pocket, and that was the last thing I could remember.
