“What do you girls see in the boy band anyways?” The man, name I learned to be Steve, asked.
Maize snorted at him calling them a boy band. “They are not a boy band,” she corrected.
“They’re a band full of teenage boys that sing about love and get chased around by a bunch of little girls.” He pointed out.
“Whatever.” She glared.
“So, are they even here?” I asked.
“No, they won’t be getting here until later on, but I’m on strict orders and I can’t let you meet them,” he explained. “I’m sorry.”
“Oh…” Maize’s voice broke. “ It’s fine” You could tell she was ready to cry.
“Maize, it’s fine. Think of it this way-“I paused for a second. “We’re here and we get to see our favorite Australian boys live in concert later on”
“Yeah, but this was planned out!” She exclaimed.
“How so?” I asked.
“First we were going to meet them, then we were going to fall in love with them based on who I ship us with, last we would get married!” She explained a little too fast.
“You’re crazy” I laughed.
“No I’m a fangirl” She corrected me.
I ignored her comment. “Who do you ship me with?” I asked now curious.
“Well Zoe I ship myself with Luke and as for you … Zashton all the way.” She said in excitement.
“Zashton?” I questioned.
“Zoe and Ashton duhh” She explained.
I sighed. “Again you are crazy.”
“I suppose” She shrugged.
As we were talking we were following Steve down a hall way filled of pictures from past concerts.
“Oh my god Z look” Maize said while looking at one of the pictures on the wall.
I looked over to see a picture of the band Green Day. Maize loved them.
“Oh that’s awesome” I said pretending to be interested.
Don’t get me wrong I like Green Day but I don’t LOVE them. I’m more of an All Time Low and Fall Out Boy fan girl.
“You know … you’re really killing my mood” She sighed.
“I’m sorry … I’m just tired.” I explained to her.
She shrugged her shoulders and turned her attention back to Steve.
“So, where exactly are you taking us?” She asked him.
“To an open dressing room” He answered to Maize.
“So are we on lock down once we’re in there?” I asked.
“No, but I’m going to assume you guys want to get some sleep, but later if you ladies are hungry there will be food for everyone before the show.” He explained.
Maize’s eyes shot up when she heard the word food.
“Yes I like food.” She pointed out making herself sound like a child.
“Maize you’re sixteen not five.” I laughed.
“Oh hush,” She laughed.
“Well here it is ladies.” Steve said motioning to the door in front of us.
We nodded and I grabbed the doorknob and opened the door steeping in with Maize following.
“Thank you sir” Maize said trying to sound polite.
“If you need anything just find someone and I’m sure they’ll be happy to help” He explained to us.
“Okay thanks” I said closing the door. I turned around to take in the scenery of the room. One Couch, a loveseat, a coffee table, two makeup stands and another door which I’m assuming led to the bathroom.
Maize had already beat me to the big couch which meant I was stuck on the tiny loveseat.
“Rude.” I said.
“What?” She asked.
“You.” I said motioning to her laying on the couch.
“Oh,” she laughed. “Too bad”
“No fair I’m taller and older.” I pouted.
“I’m awesomer” She argued.
“That’s not even a word.” I pointed out.
“That’s not even a word.” She mimicked.
I rolled my eyes. “I hate you”
“Thanks” She smirked.
“I’m going to sleep jerk.” I sighed.
“Okay then go to sleep and shut up.” She joked.
I laughed. “Fine.”
I closed my eyes drifting off into a finally peaceful sleep.
“Zoe wake up!” I heard a familiar voice shout into my ear.
I blinked my eyes a few times before finally opening them.
“What do you want Maize.” I yawned rubbing the sleep out my eyes.
“I just saw the Calum Hood walking down the hall.”
AN/ This is only the second chapter and i know it may seem like it's being a little rushed but i promise i won't rush anything.
