Marianna POV
"And just because the test was negative, it doesn't mean that you disappointed me. We can always try again." He said, causing me to immediately be silent. I was actually happy that I'm not pregnant. All day I've just been feeling like I need to get away from everything, but I haven't found the opportunity.
I looked up at him and placed my hands on his face. I needed to get off this topic before he started asking questions. I don't feel like arguing, especially when we just got back on speaking terms. He leaned down and kissed me. I smiled as we pulled away.
"December 7th." I quickly blurted out. He looked at me confused. "You asked me about our wedding date and I never gave you an answer."
He smiled before kissing me again. "As you wish." He said as he picked me up. I wrapped my arms around his neck while smiling. "If you want, we can...start trying again right now." He whispered in my ear making me giggle.
"Ummm..." He started to kiss my neck and rub my butt making me moan in his ear.
Smoke POV
"Are you sure about this? How do you know that they aren't home?" Jennell's scary ass asked for the millionth time as we approached the house. I heavily sighed as I looked at Nelson.
"Baby, trust him, aight? He's on our side." He said to her and she nodded. "Can you go unlock the door please? We gonna wait for you around back."
"Okay." She said before kissing him.
"Control ya girl, nigga. Ion know why you insisted on involving her scary ass." I said to him as we walked around back. "You are so fuckin' stupid. She is his damn sister! You really think she won't turn on you just as easy as she turning on him?"
"Chill on my girl, yo. We needed a way in, didn't we?" His stupid, emotional ass said. "And if I go down, yo ass goin too! I highly doubt Jordan's prideful ass gon go to the police anyway!"
I'd never do any time with the connections I got, but he don't need to be all in that.
"Yeah, whatever." I said before jumping the fence. "I still don't think involving her ass was a good idea. You should be happy I ain't kick ya ass for involving her and not tellin' me." I can't stand lil niggas like Nelson. I was fine doing this shit on my own.
"How else was we supposed to get in the house without breaking and entering?" He asked after jumping the fence.
Before I could answer, we heard Jennell whispering our names.
"What's wrong, baby?" Nelson said, making me sigh and rub my forehead. Why do I always get stuck with the stupidest ass people?
"The key doesn't work and I know that this is the spare key." She said from the other side of the fence. I clapped while smiling.
"Wow, you know that probably was the best thing that could have happened, now isn't it?" I said to Nelson.
He sucked his teeth. "Yo, it's—"
"Let's just go." I said before jumping the fence.
Jennell scoffed. "What the hell is your problem with me?" She asked me. I smirked as I looked at her.
"What is my problem with you? For one, you don't know how to do shit! You are a weak link. You couldn't even get us in the fucking house, which was your only job. Two.."
"Yo, chill on my girl." Nelson stepped in.
"Look, fuck this shit!" I said with my hands up then left.
Jordan POV
The drive back home was pretty peaceful. Armani and Marianna are both asleep, so I just listened to music.
"Fuck!" I whispered as we ran into a traffic jam. If everybody goin in the same direction, why the fuck is traffic jammed up? It looks like we gonna be stuck for a little while, so I just started scrolling through shit on my phone.
I came across a notification from our home security system. I thought it probably would be just some trees or maybe birds or someone walking their dog past the house. To my surprise, it was my sister, Marianna's brother, and another person who's face I couldn't make out cause they managed to dodge every camera like they knew where all of them were. Why the fuck are they trying to get into my house?
A car behind us honked loud as hell, waking the girls up. I looked up at traffic and saw that it was moving. I started to move up.
"What's wrong?" Marianna asked before yawning.
"Nothing, baby." I said before reaching over to kiss her hand. "Hey, I'ma drop you and Armani off at this hotel first and I'll be back later, okay?" I said as I took the next exit.
"What? Why?" She asked. "We only got like less than an hour to get home."
"I just gotta check on something real quick." I said as I took the next exit. "I'll be back."
I drove to the hotel and checked in. I made sure they were good and left my phone there before making my way to find my sister.
