The Future always comes (Final Chapter)

((A/N: AH! I can't believe it! I actually finished this story! I'm really glad people actually read this story and I hoped you all enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. I don't often write stories like this but I want to do more. I plan on doing one of my other Splatoon ocs next so watch out for that! Anyway, on with the show! :D))

A month had passed since Headsets returned home and you and her were closer than ever before. You spent almost all your time together and she even joined your team, witch made you a team of five so one of you would have to sit out but you took turns.

You got to know her even more and went on more adventures with her. You met her brother, King, who even she hadn't known about for a long time. Though he did originally try to kill her. But that's a story for another time.

You decided to help them search for her family that she hadn't ever met before. You always helped out whenever you could and your family took her in to help as well.

One day, she asked you to head to Moray Towers. It feels like this is her go to stage when it comes to things that are important. You met her at the top like always and she was already there, holding something behind her back.

"Hey H. So what did you wanna talk about?" You asked as she looked down at her feet. She was blushing and took a deep breath.

"Y/N, we've known each other for a long time now. It feels like forever since we first met and I've enjoyed every moment of it." She took out a small flower. "I-I want to ask you if you'll...go out with me." She avoided eye contact and seemed nervous about asking it.

You simply smiled and hugged her. "Of course! I love you, H!" She smiled and hugged you back. She then kissed you on the lip, and you returned it without another thought.

It felt like time stood still as you held her close to her, kissing her. Both of you eventually pulled away due to you needing to breath. She kissed your cheek then smiled at you.

"I CALLED IT! I KNEW IT! YES! I WIN! YOU OWE ME 20$ 1!!" Exclaimed 4 as she jumped out from her hiding spot. Both of you watched in shock as all the other agents, including Captain Cuddle Fish walked out from their hiding spots.

Headsets glared at them and didn't look very happy, though she kept a fake smile on her face. "You were not only watching us, but you BET on us as well?" She tried her best not to yell.

4 chuckled as she stepped back. "Now now H, no need to get upset." 4 and 1 both looked worried.

"It was their idea just to let you know, H." Said 3, who received glares from the two agents. Headsets created a Golden Dynamo Roller.

"I'll give you two 3 seconds. Starting...now." As soon as she finished, both ran off and after waiting 2 seconds, Headsest ran after them. You and the others laughed as yo watched Headsets attack both agents as they ran in fear.

A couple years later....

"HEADSETS! WAKE UP GOD DAMMIT! YOURE GONNA BE LATE AGAIN" you yelled at her from the kitchen. She came running in with her usual smile on her face.

"Sorry sorry. I'm here." She kissed you before grabbing a piece of toast then running to the door. "Be back later. I'll call you when I'm done!" She then ran out the door as you sighed.

"What will I ever do about her...." you spoke to yourself as you took your stuff and headed out the door, going to the store to buy something very special.

You walked into the store and looked around before finally buying two matching rings. They were silver, with a pink jewel in the shape of a heart on it. You were going to prepose to her. Her, the love of your life.

Let's just hope the others didn't spy on you again.
