Begin Log.

Task Force Omega-3 is gathered in Briefing Room 10 for Operation: Blind Demon. SCP-5875 has acquired a newfound interest and taste for trench coats.  He is currently wearing a specially made coat comprised of a fire-proof and heat retardant fabric capable of withstanding fires that, while still under testing, have reached 50,000℉. It is theorized that the coat is capable of surviving a nuclear bomb.

SCP-5875 yawns loudly as he waits for the briefing to begin.  He looks around and notices the extra security detail in the room, though seems unconcerned by the fact. After thirty minutes pass, Omega-3 is joined by Researcher Rees, Wolfe, Johnston, and Site Director Finch. Researcher Johnston is visibly fatigued and is covered in scratch marks and bruises.

5875: You guys are late.

Johnston: Sorry.  We, uh, we got held up.

073: You appear distressed.

2200-2: He looks like he got attacked by a cat.

Finch: Stow the chit-chat. Your assignment is time sensitive so we need to work fast.

SCP-5875 tilts his head to the side and focuses his attention on the PowerPoint presentation.

Finch: Your target is SCP-3456. Keter class. Goes by the codename: Orcadian Horsemen.

Site Director Finch presses a button on the remote, displaying an image of the largest recorded instance of SCP-3456.

Finch: These creatures have been deemed uncontainable and any efforts we've made to kill them have failed. They appear near the sites of war, terrorist attacks, and natural disasters. Depending on the scale of the event, more than one can appear at a time.

5875: Ugly son of a bitch, isn't he?

2200-2: Sure is.

Rees: Here's the big details. From what we've seen, instances of this anomaly are possibly sapient. They hunt down whoever looks at them directly, sometimes for dozens of miles. They camouflage in with the environment and occasionally reveal themselves to whoever they're chasing.

073: It sounds like they are stalking their prey. Like animals in the wild.

Wolfe: We've also learned that they only disappear after collecting enough people. On occasion they don't gather enough, they keep coming back until they do. Conventional weapons don't hurt them, but we know they can't cross bodies of running water.

Finch: Your objective is to aid in the evacuation of Normandy, France and protect the civilians and MTF agents from any instances of SCP-3456.

5875: I'm noticing that you haven't given us an explanation for how we're supposed to kill these things Finch. Care to explain yourself?
