BEGIN LOG.

Task Force Omega-3, Carnage Crew, is gathered in Briefing Room Three in preparation for deployment.  With them are Dr. Rees, Site Director Finch, and Researcher Wolfe.  SCP-5875 looks around, acknowledging Dr. Johnston's absence.

5875:  So where's Johnston?

Finch:  Dr. Johnston has fallen ill, so he's in his quarters resting.  Now before anyone asks any more questions, I'd like to brief you on your next assignment.

Finch nods to Wolfe, who turns on the overhead projector.  A picture of SCP-662 appears on the SmartBoard.

SCP-2200-2 whistles in approval of the object and smiles. The current instance of SCP-2200-2 is one Edward Martin, a D-Class test subject charged with multiple counts of robbery and grand theft. SCP-5875 puts his hand on SCP-2200-2's shoulder and shakes his head in disapproval. SCP-2200-2 frowns and turns back to the screen.

Finch: What you see here is SCP-662, otherwise known as the Butler's Handbell. The bell has no ringer and there's an inscription on the inside of the bell, reading: "Forever Mine – S.J.W." Despite not having a ringer, a soft chime can be heard if it's shaken, though the sound doesn't come from the bell. Once rung, a man calling himself Mr. Deeds will appear from the nearest area that's not within eyesight. Mr. Deeds is capable of completing almost any reasonable task with an impressive level of skill, but he has limits. He can't get you luxury jets, homes, cars, or a few other things. But what he can get you is the problem.

5875: You lost it, didn't you?

Finch: No. Last night, SCP-662 was stolen from containment by a group called Marshall, Carter and Dark Ltd. I believe you're well informed about them SCP-5875.

5875: I've read a few files mentioning them, sure. They find SCP that fall into the Safe category and auction them off every year. All the files I read said that the SCPs weren't in Foundation custody before MC & D got ahold of them. How'd they manage to get past security?

Finch: Because they were security. Two operatives were found unconscious in an unused containment unit, along with two additional uniforms. We caught one of them and interrogated him until he gave us the location of the next auction. Hong Kong, China. Your objective is to recover SCP-662 before it's sold. SCP-5875 and Dr. Rees will be attending the auction while SCP-2200-2, SCP-076, and SCP-073 remain on standby. We—

5875: Like hell you're sending Ellie in there! I can do this by myself if I have to, but I'm not going to put her at risk.

Director Finch snickers and angers SCP-5875 as a result.

Finch: Do you know what Dr. Rees does when she's not working or spending time with you? She goes to the shooting range. Last week she earned a perfect score with a Glock 43.
