I woke up the same way I have every morning since we've been engaged; to Greyson sitting up in the bed next to me on his computer, watching tv. It warmed my heart when he told me he didn't like being in his office when he's working at home, he liked to have the comfort of me next to him. I'd never been so utterly captivated with anyone before.

I stretched and peeked my eyes open to see Greyson smiling at me. "Good morning, beautiful." I smiled and laid my head on his stomach. "Good morning." I mumbled. My eyes adjusted to the light and I could see what he was looking at. "Oh my god." I groaned, rolling my eyes. "You can't be serious." He just laughed. "How can you not be as excited as me." I looked up at him. "I am excited." I sighed. "Just not ready to plan a whole ceremony." He playfully rolled his eyes and closed his computer, setting it on the nightstand. "At some point you'll have to tell your family ya know." He said, hugging me close to him. I nodded silently as he kissed my shoulder lightly. "I don't want it to seem like I'm not excited or don't want this, because I do. I love you so much. I've just never really pictured myself having a big wedding that I planned let alone getting married at all. It's just a lot for me." He nodded, smiling down at me. "I am in no rush, baby. For all I care we could elope or go to city hall. I don't care what anyone else thinks about what we do or how we do it. I love you and I am yours no matter what." He kissed me softly and I tangled my hands in his hair. "I'm glad I took the job in Washington." I said lowly, pulling away slightly. He grinned. "I can't imagine my life without you anymore, Jules."

I thought about what Greyson said earlier and bit the bullet. They'd find out one way or another. And I'd rather them hear it from me rather than the news, wether they approve of it or not.

"Hey hun." I could hear the smile in her voice. "Hey mom, hows everyone doing?" I asked. "Everyone's good. We all miss you though." I smiled to myself, putting the phone on speaker as I folded clothes. "I miss everyone too. Hopefully I'll get back soon for a visit or y'all can come my way." "That would be lovely sweetie! How are you doing?" I took a deep breath and I felt Greyson kiss my head reassuringly. "I actually called to tell you something important." "Is everything okay?" She asked, concerned. "Yeah, yeah. Everything's fine! Do you remember Greyson?" I asked and she laughed. "Of course hunny." "Well we've moved in together." "That's amazing! Greyson seems like a great guy." I glanced up at him and he smirked. "And we're engaged." She was silent and I nervously looked to Greyson. "Jason! Your daughter has gotten engaged and decided to tell me over he phone." I heard her muffled yell. Greyson sat behind me, pulling me into his lap, holding me tightly.

"Mom I-" I was cut off by my dad. "Juliet Grace" his authoritive voice boomed through the phone. I could hear my mom in the background. "Hush, I can't hear her!" Dad said, I'm assuming walking away. "Now that I'm away from her I'm so happy for you Grace." I smiled and Greyson kissed my shoulder softly. "I like Greyson a lot and I'm happy as long as you're happy." "Thank you Dad." "And I'll talk to your mother. I'm sure she's just shocked given your tract record with relationships. We both love you very much and we support you. Also, your mom doesn't know yet but I've planned us a trip to come see you and Marissa!" "That's great dad! I love you guys so much! Tell mom to call me later." Even though I couldn't see him I knew he was nodding. "Alright, hunny. Talk to you later." He hung up and I let out a breath, leaning back into Greyson. "Well that could have gone better." He chuckled. "It could have gone worse as well." "Don't worry about it babe, everything will be fine."

"Will you come with me to the office today?" Greyson asked. I raised my eyebrows, sipping my coffee. "Look, I still don't have an assistant and I don't plan on hiring another one anytime soon. I need someone there to take notes today... it's an important meeting." He gave me puppy dog eyes and I sighed deeply. "I am not your assistant anymore ." He nodded. "I am aware of that, Jules." "Fine." I mumbled. He kissed my head and grinned down at me. "You're a life saver, baby."

I felt oddly comfortable sitting in the chair next to Greyson. His hand rested on my thigh as he told me about the meeting before everyone got here. I couldn't help but stare at him in boss mode. He noticed me not paying attention to a word he was saying and smirked. "Stop." He chuckled. "I can't focus with you looking at me like that." I sighed. "Fine." I looked down at the papers in front of me and He squeezed my thigh. We heard the elevator ding and both looked up. In walked the owners and ceo of Drummas. Greyson and I both stood, greeting them. "I see you've found yourself an assistant." One of the guys smirked. I resisted the urge to roll my eyes and Greyson just laughed, glancing at me. We all took a seat.

I felt Greyson's hand inching up my thigh as one of them droned on about all the offers on the company or whatever. I peeked up at him and he wore a smirk. Being the smug little shit he is he started to rub my upper thigh, dangerously close. I licked my bottom lip, pulling it between my teeth. I wasn't paying any attention to this meeting and Greyson damn sure seemed intent on turning me on right now. When I crossed my legs he shot me a look. His hand retreated a little, still resting on my thigh.

I reached over, resting my hand on his thigh as well. He gave me a warning look but now was my time to smirk. He is much easier to tease and it only took me placing my hand on him gently for him to completely stiffen. I palmed him through him slacks very slowly, which I knew was torturing him. "Greyson, What is your opinion on the matter?" He cleared his throat. "Well, either way I recoup my investment and then some, so I have no personal stake. From your point of view, itd be smart to hold onto the company for another year or two. Your stock will without a doubt double or even triple. Thus, giving you a higher buyout." He said smoothly, not missing a beat.

I wasn't paying attention to their responses. But I could tell Greyson was growing impatient by the harsh grip on my thigh and his breathing change. He stood, leaning over the table. "Gentlemen, I am very sorry, but I will have to cut this meeting short. I received a message from my CFO and will need to leave." He grabbed my hand swiftly, picking up both of our stacks of papers and calmly but quickly made his way to the elevator. As soon as we were in he turned to me, pulling me into him. "I knew this was going to bite me in the ass." He mumbled before kissing me quickly. He backed me against the wall, dropping the papers to the floor and holding my face.
