It had been a month since I was being hidden by the dark army. That's what they called themselves and only I knew of them. Otherwise they were just a myth. I was currently in their gym blasting Stronger by Kanye West through the speakers. Their facilities were so much better than the ones back home. I was currently in the boxing ring taking my anger out on the dummy in the middle of the ring.

I haven't been allowed out of this place. For the past month I have been working in the old dusty archive rooms trying to find any information on this man that I could. So far I only found the information I already knew. There were a few files that were missing that held key details on Ace.

I took a few more jabs at the dummy before retreating back to the files. After a few more hours of reading through files I was ready to throw a fit.

'Having fun are we?' Dad walked into the room with a walking stick. His health was deteriorating rapidly and it was hurting me. I hated seeing him like that. We had only been reunited for a few months and he was already leaving me.

'Not at all.' I chuckled. 'I'm just at a dead end and there are pieces of the puzzle missing and I can't find some of the files. I don't know how he wants me to find information on Ace because it's physically impossible without first hand witnesses.' I shook my head and ran my hands through my hair.

'It'll be okay baby girl. You'll figure this out.' He rubbed my back and kissed the top of my head.

'It's really hard Dad. I miss Heath, Kodi and the boys and not having contact with them kills me every day! They think I'm dead and I can't do anything about it. It scared me to think that they are suffering because of me.' A few tears dropped onto the page. He continued to rub my back soothingly before another presence was made known in the room.

'Viper. We found a hit on Ace's men. Because you have been complaining and so forth about being locked up in this dusty old room, we'll let you do the interrogation when we bring them in.' He spoke smoothly.

'Why can't I go out and fight?' I whined.

'Because we can't have you "dead" and seen alive otherwise our plans are ruined. Understand?' I nodded my head. Standing up from my seat I collected a pile of files that possibly held the missing link to tracking down Ace.

'I'll be waiting in the interrogation room.' I shoved past him but halted at the door. 'Oh and make sure the torture tools are ready for use.' I winked before walking down the hall to my quarters.

I shut the door with my foot and dumped the files on my bed. I took a quick shower, applied a tone of makeup to my eyes and put on leather pants that moulded to my legs, simple plain black shirt and my favourite black leather jacket. I let my hair down to dry naturally wavy and slipped on my black pumps. I smirked at the mirror before applying deep red lipstick.

If im going to do this properly, might as well look scary.

I picked up the files from my bed and snatched my phone from my bed side table and walked towards the awaiting car that would take me to the jail house which held the interrogation rooms.

'Jail house.' I told the driver. He started up the car and started to drive.

'Miss Viper, why the sudden interest to go to the jail house.' He asked

'Interrogation blah blah blah you know the rest.' I smirked looking up from one of the open files in front of me that I stole from Sarkans archives ages ago.

'Confidential?' he questioned

'Yeah so don't even try any funny business.' He laughed

'Wouldn't dream of it Miss.'
