I packed my bags quickly, I had already told my mom that I was going to hang out at the card shop, Colorless Magic, for a while after school. But that wasn't the only reason, I wanted to get out before Marissa and her friends got to me. Leo wouldn't be here this time to save me. I packed up my science book, my papers, and my calculator to my bag and slung it over my shoulder and made a turn and booked it out of the door. My school uniform did no favors in helping me run. My skirt didn't really restrict my legs, but it was more like I could run at a full pace because then my skirt would be flying all over. I couldn't move my arms well though in the skirt and jacket the school required me to wear. My knee high socks were okay, and the tennis shoes actually helped. The day that I had spent at the card shop was only 2 days ago, but since going I've an urge to go and play more. Like an addiction.

Daiki had given me the deck I originally used 2 days ago, and I have it tucked away in the deck box he used for it in my bag. They made a rustling sound in there, and some bounced up and down with every step I took. Unfortunately, it wasn't as simple as going home or somewhere else after school. Marissa had caught up to me. "You have some nerve running off after who ever that was saved your ass." She said. I knew that if she got a hold of me then she would make the event 2 days ago look like a kiss on the cheek. I backed up slowly and bumped into someone, and turned around to apologize, maybe they would see what was happening and try to help me. Just by the bump I could tell it was a he, and he was taller then me. I looked back and saw those beautiful golden eyes that started to suck me in, matching with his ghost white. Leo! I looked at him with a sigh of relief and he made a hello gesture. "Hey Leo, I didn't know you were in high school, much less mine." I said. Leo didn't, how to put this, look like a teenager. Most teenagers in high school have a least some sign of facial hair, Leo didn't have any at all. Not even a mustache. He looked older then a teenager though, because he had such a look of maturity and like he's been living on his own for years. He nodded, "I'm a junior here." He said. He was close to graduating. The school year ended soon, just 3 or 4 months or so and we would be out for summer break. At that point I would be the junior and he would be a senior. He walked past me and stood in between me and Marissa and her friends. "When I said to leave her alone, I meant for the rest of your life." Leo said with a snarled face.  Marissa seemed to remember the threat 2 days ago and walked off with a, "I would have won if he wasn't here" kinda of walk. He watched her walk off and then sighed. "That should get her off your tail for a bit, tell me if she does anything okay." Leo said looking at me.

"Yeah, of course." I said, with a warm feeling inside. My parents and some of my true friends cared, but Leo wasn't one of those. He was a friend, I just wasn't sure if it was a true friend or not. I just wasn't use to someone caring for me like that. "Ummm, Leo. I was wondering, are you going to Colorless Magic today?" I asked. He looked at me like that was a dumb question. "Of course I am, idiot. It's where I go every day, I work there." Leo said with a face that just yelled, "Dumb ass alert". I faced palmed in my head, of course he would go. He was an ex-world champion. Why wouldn't he go to play magic, and if it was true that it was his job then he had to go or else he would get fired. Why am I so idiotic sometimes? Leo started to walk off back in the direction he was going. I followed him, Marissa might try and ambush me so I wasn't going to leave Leo's side. Not yet anyways. We walked to the Junior hall, and Juniors lined up and down and through the middle of the hall. Some were taller then Leo, other's were shorter. But they all had one thing in common, whether it was a boy or girl, short or tall, they all moved aside when they say Leo coming through. A lot of them looked at me, and I noticed how they would murmur and whisper things I couldn't hear, I think I heard someone say, "Does she not know what happened to the last guy who followed to close to Leo." I looked at Leo, and he seemed to not give a damn about any of it. Some people just straight up tried to ignore the fact we existed, turning their heads away to the windows or to the wall as we passed by. Leo stopped in front of a class room, C-3.
