Draco's POV
Jets of vibrant, malicious light were shot every which way as angry rage ensued. The shouts of fury were deafening and horrible, enough so to make me shrink back in my position just to feel the slightest bit safer. But my eyes could not avert the scene played out in front of me.
Bloodied bodies, mangled, red, and lifeless were strewn across a grassy floor, liquid seeping back into the ground, forever tainting the clearing. Branches were sticking out like broken bones, fallen from the gnarled trees above, reaching out like twisted hands. The party responsible for such feeling was unknown, but that did not stop my blood from freezing at the purple-clad wizard in the middle facing off one showing off dark, luxuriant green.
"Dumbledore. Such a name that has been learned to be feared by every human, wizard, and creature. I shall make sure today is your downfall, even if I shall give my last breath doing so," the wizard in green declared.
"Brave final words for a fool," the 'Dumbledore' spoke. "Such a pity you cannot follow through with your petty vow. Dark And ancient magic is impossible to stop. Much more so for your puny mind to comprehend."
The eloquently-worded banter drew out for several minutes before shouts resumed, me not realizing they had even stopped as my attention was averted from the battle. "What us going on?" I simply asked myself quuetly. And out of the blue, the image seemed to fade away, almost as if it were a mirage. It was soon replaced by another.
"Respected by so many, yet you throw it away for greed. Why? Isn't the love of the people enough?!" A firm voice demanded.
And again, a familiar voice rang in my ears, the deep, gruff, and sickening tone of a Dumbledore. "I am afraid not, Potter. Fame and love is but a side affect of the games I play. For the sweet revelation that you were betrayed is a much more sweet and savory reward to my minstrations. Such a pity I couldn't play you for a fool any longer." The sick man let out a hollow laugh, devoid of any humane emotion.
The Potter's eyes narrowed. His eyes a blazing and firey red. "I'm afraid that I no longer am the fool you thought I was. Otherwise I assume I would hav3 been under your spell for much longer. But I have my dear partner for waking me up."
The Dumbledore in this image snarled. "Disgusting! That is what you two maggots are! Two of the same sex together is not right!"
In a flash, the potter was holding Dumbledore by the throat, the old coot' s feet dangling centimeters above the ground. The look on the younger' s face was murderous. "If you dare say that again," he growled threatningly, "Then I will be sure to end you and your line for as long as my family and I shall live. Even into the future years from now, you bastard."
For just a moment, I saw the old man's eyes express a hint of fear, but it was faint. "You!" He choked out his words. "Will never- win. Those with the personality of a snake, and the heart of a lion will never work! Juat like you and your so-called soul partner. If my final words shall be a curse so be it!"
The Potter in the picture growled, tightening the hold around the other man's neck. "Go ahead. I will counter it you fool."
Dumbledore let out a maniacal laugh. "As long as anyone related to the great Dumbledre line lives, they shall be the sworn enemy of any creature in he wrong!" He continued laughing until he took his last draw of breath.
The Potter dropped his limp body on the ground. "As long as the Potter line continues, they will be the sworn protector of life, and shall receive the power of their ancestors when they come to the final battle. When the last enemy is slain, the curse of this world shall be lifted, the gods free, and magical beings and not shall live in harmony. I swear by my blood, that this oath shall be protected now and onward, known to my line only." He raised his hand, fingers poised like claws, and came down on his left arm drawing blood, letting it fall to the ground.
The earth where the blood dropped let out a faint blue light, getting brighter, and spreading like a spider web around the entire area and beyond. He then turned toward me. "Ready love?" He called.
A voice mysteriously like my own answered right next to me as a pale blonded man ran towards Potter, embracing him in a loving embrace and kissing him passionately. I raised my hand to my lips, a faint tingling feeling residing in that area, almost as if I kissed someone.
The image disappeared again, and this time, I was left in a void. A black nothingness. It felt so familiar to me. "As it should, Lord Draco." The sudden voice startled me out of my wits. "No n3ed to be alarmed. I am just one of your many servants at your disposal. You just can't see me yet, as you have.... not unlocked your.... full potential, shall we say?"
"Wh- who are you?" I asked, scared. My voice raspy and hoarse, as if I had not spoken for days.
"No need to be alarmed. As an All-Caster, you have much magic disposed at your feet. Some of it you are not ready to control quite yet, as you are now getting used to your new physical form."
I just closed my eyes in disbelief, shaking my head and continuously muttering to myself that this was not happening. But at the same time, I could not deny what the voice was telling me earlier. "If so, what are these images I witnessed earlier?"
"Same as always, straight to the point," the voice mused. "But those earlier scenes were memories of your past lives."
My eyes widened. "That is not possible! Even though I am a magical being, such ideology as that is impossoble!"
"I am afraid not. Do you know the true meaning behind the term 'soul partner'?"
I racked my brain for a smart answer, but nothing popped up that wasn't common knowledge. "No, I do not."
A loud and audible sigh echoed in the vast emptiness surrounding me. "Soul partners, are actually very rare. The only ones who have this bond, were together in one or more past lives. And as new souls are created to replace the old ones, soul partners should not really exist, but they do. In the grand scheme of things, what decides the fate of the world, is not strong enough to break the bond of those truly in love. And as you and Harry Potter have lived thousands upon thousands of times, and have managed to find each other, you are the strongest pair of souls to exist. This could be in part due to the blood-binding oath that a Potter made centuries ago. But even before that, the love you encountered countless times, can in no way be ignored."
The amount said to me blended together so much, but I did grasp one thing out of it. Potter and I, were meant to be in love of all silly things. I just sat there. The words playing over and over in my head. Eventually enough, the became scenes played out. Harry Potter in so many different styles and clothes. Memories with so many different friends, but him seeming to glow brighter than the rest. His mouth speaking 'I love you over and over again.
It... It made me realise I actually have loved Potter wverbsince I first saw him.
I really need to set an upload schedule for this book. But aye, another chapter out I guess?
