Chapter 2 - Bike ride

During their middleschool year as they are having vacation, Takagi goes out while it's very hot and sunny. The sun was actually staring. The heat that makes it disturbing and so drought. She's about to go on a store to buy some cool drinks that can fill her up since the sun really stare them as it is. As she walks in the second path, she saw someone riding a bike. She's all dropped out and couldn't walk anymore so then she calls for help since she can't take too long to walk to the convenience store.

This heat is killing me already, like there's no chance for me to walk anymore. It's really hot! Even my flipflops are burning my feet already. I'm gonna drop dead here... I need help. Takagi said on her thoughts while just standing beside the pole.

Then someone also riding a bike stopped at her and said: Oh, if it isn't Takagi. It's so rarely to see you here huh, where you going?

Huh? It's you, N-Nishikata kun and uhh... Y-You're... riding a bike? Said Takagi as she surprised that it was Nishikata who was talking to her.

Yo! Where you going Takagi? Nishikata asked.

As they met each other again they talk each other while walking around but though, Takagi is so thirsty and couldn't help but to get to the store quickly. Nishikata finally realized it's hot and feeling dull today so then Nishikata said to her:

Hey I kinda ask a while ago don't you have places to go?

As Takagi said: P-Places? Well I was about to go on a store to buy drinks. It's kinda hot today isn't it?

Yeah, and what a coincidence. I was about to go on a store too, want to come along? Said Nishikata wanting Takagi to come ride on his back ride on his bike.

U-Uh yeah sure we can. She said.

Well we might wanna do bike ride since I bought my Mountain Bike. Wanna ride? Nishikata asked to her.

R-Ride? Me riding on your bike? I-I'll pass. She said.

Why, what's the matter? Nishikata curiously asked her.

Isn't it way faster if we ride bike together? I'm good at Tandem Riding. He said as he was really confident to do so without having no embarrassment.

Takagi became uncomfortable with his questions and so she keeps saying no to him though it was way faster to go to the store than walking on the sunlight. Nishikata teases her that she was scared to ride on his backseat on his bike but Takagi keeps denying that she wasn't scared so then she ended up riding on the backseat while Nishikata pedals as their on the way to the store.

W-Why is this happening, I know I need someone to help me but... Having to ride on a backseat on Nishikata kun while I hold on his waist just as he said. S-So embarrassing! I-I can't take it. Takagi's thought while riding on the backseat.

See, riding on a backseat isn't so bad. Riding on a bike is so fun and chilling while the wind takes up on you. Said Nishikata.

You shouldn't be scared of things, Takagi.

T-That's not... You idiot! I'm not scared of riding bicycles. I even own one and I use it on purposely when going to school. Takagi said on her thoughts.

As they arrive on the store and bought on the drinks, they somehow find a bench to sit on with something that protects them from the sunlight. Takagi bought a Matcha shake flavor and it actually taste good on her while Nishikata bought just an orange juice in a can.

Matcha shake flavor? Are you sure about that Takagi? Nishikata concerningly asked Takagi.

Huh? This, well I kinda wanted to try one since everyone also buys it.
