Chapter 4 - Spooky Monster in the closet

The class ended thirty minutes ago and only Takagi and Nishikata were stayed in the school. During their class hours, they were annoying at the time of English class. Arguing about the differences of "Your" and "You're" Nishikata keep on being stubborn using "Your" in the wrong statement then the English teacher yelled at them for being noisy but then sends them to Faculty and let them stayed after school which is that subject is their last.

At this time I should be going home by now. Takagi said while worrying about her mom.

Ah that's fine, you don't have to worry about. Said Nishikata.

I ain't!!! 

And uhh... Aren't you getting worried also to your mom? Takagi asking politely to Nishikata.

Well, I'm always confident about my mom when she can really do chores by herself at home though. Before I was really worried making my mom do all the things like sweeping the floor, cook some food and some others. 

But as my mom said I don't have to worry about her since I was too young and I have to focus more on studies and to finish my education. 

As the teacher comes in clearly ordered them to clean the Faculty room. It is served as their punishment for being annoying in his class. As the teacher left they continued cleaning the room and as Takagi was about to open the closet that is actually too old. She was searching for a broom to clean the floor but then she saw that old closet and thought it was in there. Nishikata then said...

Be careful though. That closet isn't just ordinary. He said.

W-What? 

Have you heard the rumors? That closet hides something that students shouldn't see. 

R-Really is that true? She replied as she was scared to open.

Some actually said that it's haunted by a monster. That if you open that closet a hand will just simply catch you and put you into the closet. And that serves as you'll be a meal for that monster. 

N-No way? That's too scary, but I was wondering where is the broom? 

Dunno about that. He replied.

Takagi seem to feel suspicious about Nishikata about his scary story rumors. But either way it's not like it affected her at all because of all that it's just an old closet which this school has been using for years. Teachers are well keep on using the closet for many years also, she thought that Nishikata was just scaring her so that she couldn't open that but as she opening the closet turns out it's locked and has keyhole to unlock it.  

Locked huh... Well better find the key then.

You sure about that? Aren't you just supposed to fix those papers on the teacher's table? Nishikata asking her instead of searching for the broom. 

Mind your own business, okay! Trying to find that broom. But first I'll need the key. She replied.

We can just deal with it later, Takagi.

Hey, hold on a sec... Why are you so concern about me, Nishikata kun? 

Huh why? I'm just asking Takagi. 

Clearly don't need to ask me, I'm trying to clean the room also, Nishikata kun.

Then why you need to get that broom so bad then? You can't even open that closet you know.

Well I just thought it was in the-

Then Takagi realized Nishikata was trying to avoid her from finding the key to open the closet. Perhaps Nishikata was scared of opening the closet because of his made up story as she thought... Takagi was very convincing asking him.

Nishikata kun, could it possibly... you are scared of that closet? She said as she smirks.

Just because you made up that story and you get scared suddenly. Am I right?

Nishikata stares at her and suddenly...

AH! Monster!

UWAAAH!! GET HIM OFF ME! Takagi panicked as there wasn't nothing in there.

HAHAHAHA Caught you off guard there, Takagi.

Nishikata kun you! I'm so gonna beat you to it!

Yeah sure. Just hoping that you won't get scared.

I'm not scared you dummy!

Yeah yeah... Said the girl who screamed all the way asking for help. He said as he make a brief sound of laugh.

Takagi frustratingly ignore when suddenly her hand grope something on a teacher's table. It was the key to the closet which finally she unlocked it. Takagi doesn't get bothered by the rumor and as she opened it, a full of cockroaches and spiders lived in that closet which is just actually a toy designs. Takagi creeped out and ran over to Nishikata hugs him asking for protection but then it was all just a naught. 

Hey hey, all those freak out you did was all for a naught, Takagi.

No way, I won't get off. That really scared me.

Then Nishikata looked closer to the closet as it was just designs. 

See, aren't they cutie? 

Huh? Oh... I thought it was real. She said.

Haha, you dummy of course there aren't any monsters. It was just all my "Made up story"

To scare you.

Takagi pouts and looking grumpy at him and punches him several times on his chest telling he's an idiot. As the closet opened the broom was actually there and so then they continued cleaning and they finished by noon. As they left together at school Nishikata keeps on teasing Takagi with his made up scary story as Takagi got annoyed so much that she just ignores him all the way since all he said was just a non sense.

Hey.. I love you, know that?

...

U-Uhh.. What? Say that again?

I thought you're out of your mind there. As I said I love you. He said as he repeat the last sentence.

Takagi blushed and said...

W-Why the heck are you doing this, Nishikata kun! She said with embarrassed.

Are you kidding. I thought we're lovers now.

Yeah! I know that, but this kind of sensations is really embarrassing me. Would you stop it for one time. You keep saying that everyday of our school days.

HAHAHA Sorry would you like me to stop then.

A.....Um.. Actually no just keep saying that to me.
