As the countdown started, Takagi kept staring outside the window watching the fireworks. As her phone buzzed it was a text message from Nishikata.

Without any reply suddenly he invites her on a video call. She doesn't hesitates as she pick up and saw each other through to the phone.
I knew it, as expected you were on your room, Takagi. Nishikata said as he speaks on the phone.
W-Well a-atleast I'm having fun here. H-How's yours? Takagi said.
Well, as usual playing with fireworks. He said.
What? That's too dangerous Nishikata kun! I hope you're okay!
Don't worry about it, I've been doing this for years with my neighbor friends.
You look red today Takagi. Looks like you missed this face of your boyfriend.
I-I didn't miss that kind of face of yours! Geez!
Well, I'm gonna have to hang out. Happy New Year, Takagi.
