It had at least been five hours of driving until I finally made it to the boarding school and this place definitely screams "rich kid" for sure.

As I drove down the driveway, I saw the full span of the school. It was 7 floors high with stained glass windows all along the exterior walls. It held two large doors with a rounded arch going over it and large stairs leading up to the set of doors. Pine trees ran along evenly on either side of the long stretch of road leading up to the building, just like a castle except with teachers, dorms and smug rich kids.

The driveway has an extravagant fountain in the centre completing the round off of the road. I'm staring at the building in awe as I park the car near the entrance. It reminds me of ancient architecture in Europe.

I don't belong here. I don't belong amongst these people. I'm not good enough.

----------

I carefully place my hands onto one of the two doors and slowly push, pulling down the handle as I do so. The door creaks open and I step into a deathly silent, but extremely enormous, vestibule.

It's pristine and the marble pillars and flooring shimmered against the rays of sunlight beaming through the many windows.

A few seconds pass and I'm now hearing whispers. I follow the voices to a room to the right of the vestibule and the sign read 'admin' so obviously I enter.

----------

Okay so the staff weren't mean but they weren't necessarily nice either. But there was this one staff member, female and quite sweet, I think she's gonna be the one I'll go to when in need of help.

I now have a key with the numbers 451 written on the tag. Assuming it's my dorm room number I begin up the stairs to the room. The halls are long and I hear few voices bounce off of them as I ascend the stairwell, heading to my room. I finally reach the 5th floor and holy mother of Jesus Christ himself...these rooms are humongous! I haven't even entered mine and I can already tell by the distance between them all.

I slip the key smoothly into the keyhole, once I found my room number, and turn the key but of course, I turn it the wrong way the first go so I try again and the door clicks. I open it slowly only to find a sofa with a guy...and another guy...

We make eye contact, my eyes widening in horror, one smirked at me as he slowly shook his head while the other looked startled, then I notice the girl that is sat between them both, scrunching up her face as she looks me up and down. I quickly blurt out a "sorry" and slam the door shut thinking I got the wrong room. But then I remember what I was told.

----------

"I am very sorry dear, but you'll have to share with two boys as the new floor is still being renovated. Don't worry though as there is still plenty of space and privacy and you will have your own room with a bathroom. If you find it too uncomfortable then we can sort something else out for you." The receptionist explained with a welcoming smile.

Looking into her gentle eyes I decide to give it a go. "Don't worry, I'm sure I'll manage, there's no harm in trying. Right?".

"That's the spirit. Now, here are your keys and you come to me if ever you need some help or begin to find it all too overwhelming".

With a smile and a quick "thank you" I grab my bag and head towards the stairs she told me about.

----------

So, putting my hand onto the door handle I open the door again and step inside. I am rendered speechless as I just stare back at the three people sat across the room. Then one of them opens their mouth...please, god no.

"You must be the new roommate we were expecting. Sorry you were put with us". It was the one that originally looked startled.

The girl stood and sashayed towards me with devil eyes. I just stare back, I honestly don't care about what look she sent my way, I'm used to it. She stops right in front of me and speaks in the most stuck up and high pitched voice I have ever heard which makes my ears ring "You may live with them, mutt, but you sure as hell can't have them".

"Don't be pathetic. I don't want them, either of them" I shot back.

She just stormed out, shoving her shoulder into mine as she swayed her hips aggressively. I hear a chuckle from behind me as I watch the door slam shut. I turn back around to find the two guys standing up with grins on their faces.

"what are you two smiling about?" I question.

"Nothing, it's just no one ever speaks like that to her so I found it funny," one of them said.

"People like her piss me off. Anyway, if we're gonna be living together we should at least know each other's names, right? I'm Jamilah" I know I shouldn't have as it's a little rude but I spoke to them in a dry tone. I just can't afford being hurt again.

"straight forward, I like that. I'm Trevor, you can call me Trev though" this guy always seems to be grinning with gorgeous burgundy eyes any person would drown in, I'm good though.

"Jamilah..." the other guy repeated my name as if tasting it on his tongue "I'm Travis, and as you've probably gathered, we're twins". This guy finally stopped looking so startled, it was kind of funny, his expression that is. He smiled at me showing off his cute dimples.

"It's just I'm the better looking one," Trevor said from behind him sending a wink my way. I let out a little chuckle, I mean they aren't identical but I still wouldn't know who looks better.

They both had light brown, chocolate skin, with bodies that were well built, at least from what I could see from their sweats and loose t-shirts. They shared warm, Burgundy eyes and plump but soft looking lips. Both of them had dark brown, braided hair, however Travis had lots of little ones that were left to hang down while Trevor had large braids running along his scalp, ending in a small bun at the back of his head.

Blessed with good genes.

After exchanging names Travis and Trevor aren't as bad as I thought. They offered to help me bring my bags up but I said I only had one so they left me to it.

I think I'm just going to go take a well needed, long shower read a book and then turn in for the night. It's been a one hell of a day and its only noon. I'm curious about what tomorrow will turn out like anyway.

----------

Hey guys!

This one has now been freshly updated as well. I've swapped Trevor and Travis around as I want Travis to be the "goofy" one and Trevor to be the "sweet-talker" haha.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed! Have an amazing day/night.
