chapter twelve

sadie

i went to class and i couldn't stop thinking about finn. him saying 'with all my heart' was the only thing on my mind. it was basically a song.

"ms. sink?" the teacher said my name and i snapped out of my daydream.

"yes?" i answered. "do you know the answer?" the teacher said and my heart was beating fast now. "uhhh...no?" i made a i don't know and i'm guilty but i'm not sorry type of look.

the whole class shortly laughed and looked back to the teacher. i was so embarrassed but as much as i hate it, i got back to daydream about finn.

class was over and it's now lunch. i sit with millie in our regular spot, waiting for finn but we've been waiting for five minutes and he's not here yet. keep in mind that he's always here first.

finn

the bell rings and it's time for lunch. i'm so excited to see sadie. i wanna tell her how amazing of a girlfriend she is. i wanna tell her the positive impact she had on me.

i stand up getting my books in my hand and the teacher, mr. stan, called me because he wanted to talk.

"finn, do you have a minute?" mr. stan called out for my name and i turned my back so i was now facing him.

"there's this girl and her grades isn't the best. it would be lovely and kind of you to tutor her for a week since you are really smart and you're a good kid"

i mean, i would do it because i couldn't imagine being in this persons shoes. the exams is in two weeks and i have to help her. i don't want anyone to not graduate from this shithole we call high school.

"yeah sure, just tell me about this after school? i have to meet up with my girlfriend" i said getting out of the classroom and my voice slowly fades.

at the cafeteria, i see sadie, millie, and this random guy sitting with them beside sadie. what the actual fuck is this bullshit?

"hey..." i said sitting down next to sadie. "hey finn, this is caleb. he's the captain basketball player" i said introducing caleb to me. me and caleb shook hands. i could feel bad vibes just by touching his hand.

"and caleb, this is my boyfriend, finn" sadie said and millie's eyes widened. "what the fuck? you never told me about it?" millie practically yelling at sadie.

sadie giggled as one of her hand covers her mouth. she's so precious but i was still a little mad. i don't get why this guy is sitting with sadie and millie.

third person

"finn, you're so lucky to have sadie" caleb said to finn and that made him feel weirded out in a way.

"yeah i know" finn said and looked to sadie. he touched her hand and rubbed them. that made caleb jealous.

caleb always had a crush on sadie. she just doesn't know. he always do things that shows his love for her but she just never see it that way.

"i should get going, the team is probably searching for me right now" caleb made an excuse because his heart was aching at the sight of finn and sadie.

"oh okay, bye caleb" sadie smiled at caleb and he left. sadie and finn just started to make small talks.

millie

hearing finn and sadie dating together really broke my heart. i really like finn. i've liked him since day one but i also love sadie with all my heart. she's my bestfriend and i cant be with finn if she's happy with him.

"hey so you guys are actually dating and it's not just a prank?" i said. i know exactly what the answer was but i just wanted to be sure.

they both just smiled to each other and sadie said that it's real. i was so sad. i've always done these things for finn and he never seemed to realize how much they mean to me.
