The scene before my eye was so familiar. The chirps of cuckoos, the fragrance of jasmine plants which grew along the  fence. Of course, I did remember that place. It  was my uncle's house . Tingled with reminiscence, I  was happy to be in my past again.

This new technology is such a wonder . It turns our memory lane into a real place but with a time limit.
It has solved the problem of lacking parks and places for recreation in these highly-densed urban areas. But this is not the main point anyway. What matters most is that we can re-experience the past events and it is truly magical.

Just as I was wandering along the street in that I used to play, a little boy bump into me as he was running away from someone .

When I saw his face, I couldn't help but laugh. This was my brother when he was young . I wish he would have been here together with me so I can tease him.
The child looked at me dumbfounded . He might probably be thinking that I have lost a screw.

A series of rapid footsteps and  panting sounds could be heard. It was from a  younger girl who  ran after him.

"I have caught you" she said as she touched the shoulder of the boy.

That young girl was my younger self.

After seeing me , both of them checked me If I was someone they know.

I smiled at them initiated the conversation "Do you guys like ice cream? I m treating you."

"No, mommy says we shouldn't eat anything given by a stranger or follow them" the older kid responded immediately.

Those words were exactly what our mom would have said back them.
Not to make the children feel frightened, I tried so hard to refrain my self from foolishly laughing again .

"Then how about this? I won't ask you to come along with me. I will follow you two to join playing"

They hesitated for a while and then finally agreed to let me join them.

I did all sorts of things I loved to do when I was young.
After playing Tag, we got tired and lay down on the grass. I told them some ridiculous stories that I made up on spot. They would listen to me attentively even when I bluffed nonsenses . I should have felt guilty to fool the little children. After all, they are no one but younger selves of my brother and I so I didn't really feel bad about it.

I didn't notice how much time had passed by when I got signal that the time was up.

As I tended to hug them in farewell, the whole scenerio began to perish slowly and made me feel somewhat empty.

Just like the waves that are swept by the breeze , waves of memories hit me softly and receded  leaving me drowned in the  nostalgia.
