Chapter 6: Casey

I didn't need Robyn to care about me, I needed her to love me. It was now the end if the day and I still hadn't found a way to tell her we were mates. I knew I had to hurry up because my craving for her increased through out the day, and I don't know of she noticed but I found myself watching her, all day.

In P.E the way her legs moved whilst she was jogging, the way she giggled when there was a mini explosion of foam, in quior the way her angelic voice drowned out the rest or sometimes made the song better.

This was all new to me, I mean I'd never felt like this about no one, especially not my best friend.

My mom must have sensed something was wrong because after dinner she came up in my room and sat down on the bed. She looked pretty,with her hair curled down and a beautiful red dress.

"Hey baby boy what's the matter?"

"Nothing" I mumbled into my pillow.

"You sure? You seemed to be quiet ever since you came home, and your not getting ready for tonight" she pointed out.

"Mom, i found my mate"

"But honey that's fantastic news why are you so depressed for?"

"Because if I tell that person they are my mate the relationship I already have with them wont be the same, and I don't want that."

"Oh I see, well you never know unless you try, and if I were you I'd hurry up and tell Robyn; It seems she has her eye on young Mr Adam"

I gasped and growled at the fact that my mom knew it was Robyn, and the thought of Robyn and Adam together.

"Don't worry I'm only joking. Now hurry up and get ready we'll be waiting downstairs."

I smiled and looked at my mom. I couldn't believe that this women who had lost her mate, single handedly brought up two boys and was now about to be replaced as Luna could smile and give reassuring advice.

I did as I was told and got on a black sensible tshirt with black jeans and smart shoes I looked in the mirror and told my self,
Tonight's the night I tell her
