"Adult clothing doesn't fit me, and the kids section isn't my style at all and too bright, ugh. So I'm forced to go to that large colonial doll shop for clothes."
"Hey, they need more smaller clothes."
"I don't think there'd be too much difference though, mainstream clothes in general are too flashy."

Pam and Angela had just walked out of the doll clothes store, and were heading to a dessert shop. They got onto an escalator.

"Malls look really pretty, like besides all the trash people leave, have you ever looked at the architecture?"
"I agree they look pretty... I like the more clean marble Rome themed ones."
"I'm on the other hand, I'm a big fan of the neon style and an escalator mess and yeah..." Angela scrunched up her face in confusion, it was as if she just realised other people have their own opinions..
"You do you, Pammy."
"T-thanks...?"

They reached the top level, to find the fancy cafe. Pam and Angela looked in awe.
"Oh my gosh..."
"Pammy, you seem so shocked at anything that is even slightly tasteful or sophisticated... it's honestly cute."
"I... well I, don't know how to respond to that..."
"It's a compliment. Anyone else and it would have been an insult." Angela looked up at Pam and grinned.
"Your humour is weird, Ange."
"No it's not!"

Angela and Pam walked in, and got their seats sorted. They were at the balcony section, overlooking scranton's busiest area (idk scranton im aussie idk how to wrote abt scranton soz), with lights glowing everywhere and the streetlights creating a beautiful pattern across the snowy town.

"What are you ordering?" Angela asked, woolen hands clasped.
"Mmm... chocolate milkshake and churros. What about you? I'm happy to share as well." Pam was sort of zoned out, staring at the view.
"I'll also get a chocolate milkshake and I'll get a caramel slice."
"Caramel slice? Sweet tooth, huh?"
"I guess you could say that. I used to taste test various candies when I was young at school... my parents disproved but it was the only thing I did wrong against them."
"Lucky..."
"Hm, yes in terms of candy, yes."

The pair's order was taken, and they were given the table number 13. They chatted about work shenanigans in the meanwhile.

"So, Pam, do you feel a bit better now?" Angela asked.
"Yeah. Thank you so much, I don't know how to express it-"
"Paying half the bill."
"Isn't that implied whether I owe you or not?"
"Whatever." Pam leaned her head on her arms and laughed. Angela continued "If Roy comes to ruin things again... I have some tricks up my sleeve."
"Like what?"
"Well, there's scratching his car, sabotaging his courier, stage a-"
"Woah woah woah, Ange. I'm not going to take revenge! I mean maybe if he plays up again, but wouldn't taking revenge right now cause more havoc?"
"Revenge is fun."
"I thought you didn't like having fun at work."
"Revenge isn't work related." Angela smirked. She was one of the most vengeful people, despite her lawful ways.
"True..."

"Here are your orders, ladies. I hope you enjoy!" A kid who looked like a mini Dwight Shrute served the two.
"This milkshake is sooo good." Pam was really going at the drink, already at halfway.
"Slow down!"
"Nooo, it was made to get us addicted."
"What, really?!"
"No, no. Not literally... it just tastes amazing."
"Ah. Indeed it does taste nice." Pam was now finished, and hugging her head with her arms.

"Pammy, are you okay?"
"B-brainfreeze."
"I told you so."
"Shut up... also can I have some of your milkshake please...?"
"Fine. I'm going to try the churros anyways."
"Thanks Noelle." Pam recovered from the quick headache and put her straw in Angela's drink. Between each dipped churro, Angela would take a sip from the drink.

"We are coming here again." Angela stated.
"Yeah!"

After their mall trip, the two went back to Angela's house.

"Angela?"
"Yes?"
"I didn't bring any clothes from home since I wasn't planning on-"
"It's okay. I should have planned a week or even a month before. I have some of my sister's clothes stashed, they might fit better than mine." Angela walked over to the spare room, and brought out a set of pajamas, plain shirt, and jeans. Pam heard Angela curse.
"Angela?! All good in there?"
"Yes, I just need to make an entire bed."
"This may sound weird... but I can bunk with you."
"Mmm... alright."
"I'll just seperate us with a pillow, that'll be cool?" Pam didn't want to inconvenience Angela more and more.
"Yes."

"Agh, the clothes are very basic but it'll do." Angela said.
"Yep, it looks like it fits anyways. Thanks."

-

Angela was on the right side of the bed, reading someone's biography. Pam, on the left was trying to get warm. Why doesn't she have a thick doona? Then a cat emerged from under the bed and sat itself on top of Pam's torso. Oh. Her cats keep her warm. Pam was dozing off, hugging the pillow in the middle, as she did every night. Angela was still reading.

-

Angela had turned off the light now, and laid down properly to find hands on the barrier pillow. Pam was well asleep, so Angela hugged the pillow as well. Angela admired how soft her friend was, from her hands to her personality. Sometimes she wished she could be as sweet, but she knew everyone's just different. Angela patted Lumpy, the cat who was at her legs, then went to sleep.
