Angela pulled up at the apartment block. She looked at the grimy building, and somewhat pitied Pam. If she could, she would keep Pam for longer. She was an interesting addition along with her cats.
"Hurry up and go." Angela almost pushed Pam outside of the car. Pammy raced up to the stairs, to the third floor. She barged into her door, scooped up the clothes she needed and shoved it into a bag with toiletries and work stuff. She ran back down again, almost tripping on the way outside.
"Good. You did hurry up." Pam stared away, a bit uncomfy.
"Noelle?"
"Yes Pamela?"
"D-do you hate me...? I've put you through so much trouble..."
"No. You are my friend, remember? You don't seem to mind my cats, you are nice to me. I don't understand why you would think I dislike you."
"O-okay, thanks for the reassurance I guess." She's sort of oblivious, but at least she's honest I think...The rest of the drive was pretty mundane, and it started to rain. Angela made juice for herself and Pamela, and introduced Pam to every single cat she could find in the house. Pam was baffled but went along. She was more of a dog person, but made sure not to spill it to Angela.
"You can stay as long as you like Pammy, anytime. The cats love you. And I don't mind you."
"Thank you... my place isn't too fabulous as you saw, but if you really wanted to you could come."
"I'll consider checking it out."—
After the weekend, at Dunder Mifflin Scranton.
"Why hello, Karen! May I introduce you, madam, to Jim!" Micheal pranced around, he had been excited for this transferred employee for months.
"Heyo. I'm Jim Halpert. Nice to meet ya. Welcome to hell." Jim whispered the last part.
Karen made a funny face and shook his hand. "Greetings to you too. Karen Fillepi.""Dwight Shrute." Without even turning, Dwight shot out his hand and briefly shook Karen's. She walked away, weirded out already. This branch lives up to the descriptions, hey. She thought to herself as she greeted the other salesmen.
"Angela Martins. I'm busy, I'll see you later."
"Oscar Martinez. Welcome! Oh uh... you have something on your top... yep... sorry."
"Kevin Malone. If ya need any M&Ms or help just yell out KEVIN!!, 'kay?"
"Yep." Karen speed walked to the kitchen, where Micheal stopped her. "Do not go into the annex. It is a place of misery, I don't want to taint your mind. See that demon over there?" Through the glass Karen saw a guy at a lone desk, looking at some fairy tale marriage site. She turned around and went back into the main office."Oh hey. Sorry I didn't greet you first, ah this place is so... peculiar! Anyways, I'm Karen." Karen was at the receptionist desk, eyeing the candy and feeling the desk.
"It's fine, I understand. I'm Pam Beesly. Oh, you'll get used to this place. I just wish you the best of luck, heh." Pam was hurt that she was introduced to last, but something's better than nothing, right?
"Yeah... So, where am I sitting?"
"Ask Micheal, I'm sure you'll get a good seat."
"Alright, see you around."
Pam waved, then sighed. That was awkward.—
Karen smiled. She gotten a seat next to the cool Jim guy. He seemed like the only sane person in this building.
"Yo." She grinned at Jim
"Hi." Jim swirled 360 degrees then pointed at Karen. She giggled.
"So, tell me about hell." Whispered Karen.
"Sure. I'll tell you alllll you need to know about this haven. Might get stuck here for all your life... so get prepared."
"Woah, slow down."—
Jim and Karen's discussion continued through to lunch break, with them laughing and chatting in the break room. Pam watched. She was on the other side of the break room with Angela.
"They're so loud. It's hurting my ears." Angela said.
"We can go to the kitchen."
"Yes. Good idea." They both got out from the break room, and sat at the kitchen table. Angela ate her salad, Pam was eating her sandwich."Dwights stupid hay king event is on tomorrow."
"Are you going, Ange? In all honesty, I want to peek in on it."
"Maybe."
"Alright. I'll go with you if you are going."
"Sounds good."—
The rest of the day was alright. Jim was goofing around with the new girl, and everyone else was normal (well to Pam and the office). Pam was just about to leave when Angela was standing at the Dunder Mifflin door.
"Conference room."
"Uhm, sure. What's it about?"
"It's important and I can only trust you." Angela dragged Pam to the room, and went to the corner."Please, please, don't tell a soul. I'll... make your life hell if you do."
"I promise I won't... whats this all about any-" Angela got up on her tippy toes, leaned to Pamela and kissed her on the lips, sending a shocked Pam crashing her back into the wall. Angela hugged her."P-Pam... I... think I..." Angela was still embracing her. "It's a-actually nothing... just impulse... forgive me..."
"... It's fine A-Angela." Pam was still a bit disoriented.
"Don't bring this up." Angela recomposed herself and walked out briskly, leaving Pam behind, starstruck.—
