Maya pov
I woke up to Lucas shaking me awake. "Maya get up this is our stop".
I replied that I slept on his shoulder and quickly got up. "Let's go" I said realizing what happened that day.
"So are you sure you know where we are heading?" "Yes I'm positive." I said forgetting where the house is. "I'm going to call Riley"I said pulling my phone out.
R- Maya where are you?!"
M- I'm heading toward your grandparents house, atleast I think I am"
R- its 4568 Welland Blvd"
M- Thanks I gotta go, tell your dad to pick us up"
R- Us?"
M- Lucas and I"
R- oh yea I forgot Bye!
M- Bye!
I hung up and started running toward Welland Blvd with Lucas on my tail. I looked at the house numbers '4561,4562,4563, 45644565,4566, 4567.....' "4568! We're here!" I exclaimed as I ran up the stairs and knocked on the door. "Maya! How are you?I wasn't expecting you." Amy kept blabbing about how big I gotten and how old I was.
Then she finally asked "How'd you get here?" "Lucas and I got lost and I remembered where you lived and I was hoping we could stay here until Mr.Mathews picks us up". "She looks at Lucas with an evil eye and says "sure come on in" with a perky voice.
We have been waiting for an hour and they still haven't came yet. Amy got off the phone and told us " He is stuck In traffic so it might be a while. Maya go up to my daughters old room and Lucas go to Corey's "
Lucas pov
I head toward Mr.Mathews room and saw posters on the wall of an old TV show and an old looking TV. Its really cool on how things have improved. I don't know how I would've lived without my phone and modern technology.
I went to check on Maya and saw this teenage girl type room, with pictures of boy bands, male actors and their albums/movies. "So, when do you think their coming?" I asked her she jumped and smiled "First of all do not scare me," I smiled " and second of all... hopefully soon"
We sat on the bed and just looked at the floor. "What do you want to do? What should we talk about Cowboy?" She asked. "I'm hitting the hay" I said not realizing what I said. "OK Bucky McBoing-Boing" she said as I went out the door to sleep. Right went to sleep. I was abruptly shaken by Maya with tears strolling down her cheek "Lucas! Something happened to Mr Mathews!"

So Sorry for not posting in a loooooooooong time! I had a huge writers block, this took me 3wks or so to write.
thx for 4 k!,!, I love that you read my books and i dont know why you like my book, i find it really boring sometimes.
I have a break off of school next week wensday-friday so expect an update then
