Maya's p.o.v
Today i was going back to school, and now i have a a cast and stitches in my head. I hate my life. I need an excuse but i want to go to school to prove that missy was a b*tch after all and not a goody two-shoes. I also want to see my friends and mr.mathews . (Sorry for language but maya would be the kind to say it). I wore a pink long sleeve shirt with a black ripped shirt over it, and some jeans with some some black boots. I did my normally easy routine and now it was a whole lot harder.
Meet me at the subway,I texted Riley with the phone that mr.mathews gave me last year, and im so grateful for that. Sorry,sick today cant come 2 school she replied . I sighed, first day back and i wont be able to see my best friend. I could probably swing by her place after school to give her, her work.
I went to the subway and Gretchen told me to fix my posture "thanks Gretchen!" Isaid as she walked away. I got on and there was lucas. "Hey cowboy " i said,"hi,wheres Riley? "He asked. "She's sick today." I said Sadly.we were silent the whole way to school. When i got to my locker someone said "oh, look who we have here, if it isnt ugly with a broken arm" Everyone laughed. I wanted to punch her but i didnt. "Just leave her alone missy what did she ever do to you?" Lucas asked."Lucas i can handle this"i said "oh really what are you gonna do, call me ugly again?" I finally said ,
" You know what missy? Im tired of you bossing me around, i dont care if you hurt me, you know why? Because i have friends who love me, even if my family doesnt. I have people who care for me and like how i act no matter how much i mess up. So you are through with messing with me, and everybody else in this school building." Glad to get that off my chest. Missy just stared at me and said "Hart, you have no idea of what you just done." I smiled and said " i just stood up to an ugly bully who just needs to stop." And with that she left and i went to my locker, got my stuff and went to mr.mathews class. When i sat down he just smiled at me and i smiled back.
I went with mr.mathews to give riley her work."Riley?" "Yeah?" She responded "Everything is going to be ok." She and i smiled and did our homework together

Yay happy ending! I am kinda running out of ideas but dont worry laya will be happening in 2-3 chapters. Im reading detention by ___rileyyy16__ awesome book btw! Its my third time reading it.......
