Hood.

Now way.

My head was everywhere but at school. I kept getting flashbacks of 1964, when Ruby and I stayed at the house of a very old family in New Zealand. They were different than the other humans. Their bodies were hotter, at temperature, and they were stronger than any other normal person, but not as strong as me.

Their last name was Hood. I was in love with one of them. Thomas Hood was his name. He broke my heart.

So I broke his wives neck.

I was pissed at him and couldn't stop myself. Ruby stopped me before I could kill the little baby girl Thomas put on this world with his loved one.

I should've been the one he loved. But he didn't. He never could, not after he found out what I did and what I am.

He told me what kind of genes run through his family's blood. What he was/is, was one of the main reasons he couldn't be with me. That, and he didn't love me.

"Onyx? Are you coming or what?" Calum shakes my shoulder. "Yeah, where are we going?" I mutter. "The next class, the bell rang like, 5 minutes ago" I chuckle confused and follow Thomas's grandson out of the room.

Home. Finially. "Ruby, I'm back" I say loud. Immediatly my half an hour older sister stands in front of me. She looks exactly like me. Only her hair is pitch black and her eyes have a red glow.

"How was your first day at school?" She cheers. I chuckle and hug my sister, who is exactly the opposite of me. "Great" I awnser sarcasticly. "I got us a deliscious dinner to cheer you up after your first day" she pulls at my hand and walks us towards the living room of our mansion.

"Tadaa!!!" She cheers when 4 young girls come into view. They're staring at eachother. No expression on their faces and no movement. "They smell great" I smile an walk towards a redhaired girl. I twirl my fingers through her soft hair and let my pointer finger follow the vage, blue lines of her vains.

"Bon appetit"  I smirk while pushing my sharp fangs into the warm flesh of the redhead.

~

"Did you have to kill them?" Ruby asks irritated while helping me digging a grave. "You know how I get when I let myself go" I protest. She nods but rolls her eyes. That's my excuse for every life I take. And I've taken a lot.

"Are there any cute boys at school?" Ruby blurts out. I know she wanted to ask that all day. I just roll my eyes and nod. "Have you talked to them?" She drops her shovel and holds my shoulders. My sister's always focused on our social life.

"Yeah, I ate lunch with them."

"Names?"

"Luke, Ashton, Michael and.... Calum Hood" I finish. Closing my eyes as I do so. "Wh-what?" She mutters. "You heard me" She looks at me, shocked and scared. She knows that it won't take long for the Hood family to find out we're in town. They'll try to take revenge for killing one of them.

Shit.

I've always had a bad habit of pissing people off.
