6. Knuckle kisses.

~Onyx p.o.v.~

"Ruby! I'm home" I say, throwing the keys of my car onto the table. "Livingroom" Ruby answers. I walk through the hall when I pick up a familiar scent. Luke. "What are you doing here?" I exclaim at my friend. "Well, Calum called in pure panic that he fucked up his chance with you and I wanted to make sure you'd give him another chance... So when I got here, your sister let me in." Luke stands up from our couch and takes place in front of me. My sister stands up from her seat as well. A dirty smirk on her face.

"Calum. As is Calum Hood? The one you told me about?" Ruby shrieks. "That's just great. Go for it. But I won't go after his grandfather if I were you" She laughs. "Yeah, that Calum Ruby" I groan, mentaly punching myself. "So, you like him?" Luke says with a frown. "It's the genes she's interested in" Ruby says, pouring herself a drink. "What's that supposed to mean?" Luke frowns. "Nothing Luke. C'mon" I grab Luke's hand in mine and pull him upstairs while Ruby laughs in the background.

"So what's all this about? What was she talking about?" Luke asks taking place on my bed. "Nothing Luke. Now why are you here?" I sigh, patting him on his shoulder. "Calum wants another chance with you. He realised he fucked up" "He didn't, I fucked up Luke, a long time ago" I say before I realise that it sounded weird. "You've known us for 3 weeks Onyx. That is not a long time." I stand up and stand in front of him, hands on my hips. "I have known the 'Hood' family for a long time. I just had no idea that Calum excisted" I say. Luke frowns and shakes his head. "Why didn't you tell him you have a history with his family?" "Because it's very complicated" I groan, tugging at my hair. "I think I can keep up" Luke mutters, standing up and grabbing my hand. He kisses my knuckles before putting me down on the bed.

A part of me wanted to tell him. I wanted him to know my secrets. But I knew that if I told him I'd have to compel him to forget, or compel him that he won't talk to anyone about it except for me.

I chose the last.
