Sitting in the shadows I waited, for something interesting to happen that didn't involve my new little clown. But soon enough, my new entertainment came out of the elevator...number 99. Killua Zoldyck, he was set to become the head of the Zoldyck Family, the little devil wasn't supposed to be here and he knew it.
Slowly making my toward the small male, my shadowy form floated to him.
"Little boys like you could get hurt in these games."
"Lucky for me that I have a monster in my corner."
I could feel a dark chuckle work its way up my throat, "Take care of who you call a monster...little brother."
"Are you here to take me back?"
"Nope, I'm on vacation. The one time a year that our family can't make me work." I snickered making the boy relax.
"So then why are you here?" he asked softly, most likely thinking I was here on a job.
"Well to be a hunter of course," I draped my arm over his shoulder, pulling him into a cheeky side hug. I could feel my nen creeping out of its locked cage, it darkened my eyes...I could feel my aura surround me and my brother. "But not one of these fake hunters...no I want my prey strong."
I could feel Killua shake under my arm, he was strong but he was still a child and my nen was cold and filled with blood lust...but to him it was just my words. He would feel the weight of my nen, however, he hasn't unlocked his nen so he would not know the cause of it.
"Worry not little brother," I lifted my nen, dragging it back to its cage. "You've made it this far on your own so that's the way it will stay. I won't be interfering unless someone is looking for your head."
He shook his head, you know the one I just promised to protect and shoved my arm off his shoulder. "I don't need your protection."
"No of course not," I snickered holding my hands up in defense...fine no protection for you. He nodded and walked away, only to be stopped by Tonpa. Shaking my head, I disappeared into my shadows once again.
'I hope this part of the exams goes by faster, I can only keep from killing these above grounders for so long.'
A heard a snicker from my right, a snicker I knew all too well, "Hello Hecate."
"Hello, my love." Looking to my side, I saw my best friend. Her long maroon hair was pulled into a simple bun, her golden eyes glowed in the shadows and her pale skin shined softly in the light bit of light. "Having trouble keeping your bloodlust in check?"
Humming softly to her, "With so much prey in such a small space."My nen coated my body, making Hecate chuckle.
"We could always kill them all. Your father would happily deal with the extra work for you."
My eyes swept over the room; the image of the bloody bodies covering the floors, how my clown would see how outclassed he was. Yes, I'd enjoy it very much...
"As tempting as that is my love. I think I'll just struggle for a little while longer...I know I get to kill soon."
"If that's what you want." Her hands gently pulled on my hair making me look back to her, "Let me play with your hair."
"And let you take Mother's blessing from it. No thank you." Tugging my long strands from her hands.
"You know she put a safeguard on it."
"Yes, I asked her to." My grin stretched into a large insane smile. "Can't have my vacation be cut off too soon."
Clicking her tongue, Hecate shook her head in disgust, "I'll never understand why you listen to them the way you do." Her eyes locked with mine, "You're the Goddess of Fear. Why bow to mortals???"
My lovely black nen slowly grew in power, "Because they let me see so much beautiful blood."
"Hmmm. I see," Hecate smirked looking back into the room. Her eyes glowing as she scanned the room. "You want prey that fights back."
"Not just that...I want them to make me work for it." I snickered hopping in front of her with a look of pure glee that I knew was covering my face. "You'll help me, right Hecky?"
Shaking her head with a smile, "Only because I love you." Holding up her left hand that had a light surrounding it, the light morphed into a black shirt of some kind.
Tilting my head to the side, with an eyebrow raised. "A sealed shirt....cool!!" I yelled snatching the clothing out of her hand and pulled it on as fast as my excitement would let me. Once on I discovered that it was a black crop top that fell off both of my shoulders and had three-quarter sleeves.
I could feel my nen being pulled into the shirt...it felt weird...in the best way possible. Snapping my head back to Hecate, where I saw a soft smile on her face. Lounging toward her, my nen barely coated my fist, throwing the punch at her face she stopped the attack with ease something that normally never happened.
My crazed smile pulled itself onto my lips, "This will do nicely. Remind me to tell Dad to give you a raise."
"Oh~ Maybe I should start doing more favors for you if keep telling him to give me more money." She laughed pulling me into a hug, which I easily return only to have a weird feeling in my lower regions... Pulling away from the hug looking down, finding that she had put some blood-red shorts on over my gray bodysuit.
Giving her a flirty smile I pulled her closer, "And here I thought I was getting horny for ya only to have you put more clothes on me."
"Well, I can easily take them off for you," she ran her hands from my hips down to my ass. This is why she is my best friend!!
"Oh baby oh baby," I giggled nuzzling closer to her, "Don't stop."
I could feel her shake her head in silent laughter, "Never-" She paused then sighed, "Your father has decided that I'm needed. I'll see you later my love."
Pulling away from her I pouted, "Fine but you'll own me a kiss for teasing me so much."
Her beautiful golden eyes shined in the darkness as she melted into the shadows, "Until then."
"Later lovely." I purred before focusing back to the room full of my prey. With Hecate's seal and mother's safeguard this would be the best vacation I've had in a long time.
