The days went on and it's now the 24th of December, the girls are excited to celebrate Christmas eve. This would be the first Christmas eve of them together and they're looking forward to it. As the girls were busy preparing, Cheryl and Sam were busy wrapping their gifts. "Uhhhh.. I really have no idea on how to do this." Sam said as she held the gift in her hands, the Geordie looked at her girlfriend then gave her an amused smile. "You're getting there babe, don't worry. I think that's fine, whoever you'll give it to wouldn't mind." Cheryl said as she looked at the gift that she successfully finished wrapping. The couple placed their gifts inside a huge paper bag then proceeded to go downstairs, "do you even know how to cook?" the couple peaked by the stairs and saw Jackie and Stephanie trying to insult each other, "I was the one cooking our food all the time and you're going to ask me if I even know how to cook?" Jackie asked in disbelief, the youngest girl just laughed at her sister's question which made the older girl felt more insulted. "What are you laughing?" the older girl asked as she looked at sister who's still giggling, "oh nothing. You're just too serious. Of course! You know how to cook! And we love your cooking, Jackie. I'm just teasing you." the younger girl responded as she hugged her older sister by the waist. Jackie just sighed as she hugged her sister back, the couple looked at each other and gave each other a warm smile.
Later that night, they were all eating at the dinner table and enjoying each others company. "This is our first Holiday out of the country, right girls?" Sam asked her sisters, "Yeah! And not to mention Sam. Your first Christmas with your girlfriend. Last Christmas, you were freaking single and you were so drunk and told us that you really need to have a girlfriend because Christmas feels so lonely." Stephanie blurted out as her other sisters laughed. It reminded them of Sam being so drunk and emotional, they also had the chance to film it but their eldest sister begged them to delete the video because it's too embarrassing. The eldest of the siblings glared at their youngest sister, Stephanie didn't mind as she smirked at Sam who's still giving her a death glare. "Oi! Don't be too complacent, you being close to Cheryl doesn't mean that she can protect you from my wrath all the damn time." Sam said as she pointed a fork at Stephanie, the Nation's sweetheart swatted Sam's left arm that made the fighter look at her girlfriend sheepishly. "Can you not threaten your sister? I think she's adorable. And yes, whenever I'm around she's under my protection." Sam looked at her girlfriend with disbelief, the Geordie just smirked at her girlfriend as she continued eating. "That's unfair!" The Green eyed beauty protested, "what's unfair?" Cheryl asked innocently. "Well, her being under your protection." Sam mumbled, "She's younger than you Sam and come on, she's just teasing you." Cheryl said in her defense. The fighter just sighed and gave her girlfriend a kiss on her cheek.
After eating dinner, all of them moved to living room and proceeded in drinking their wine and beer. Stephanie is holding Sam's guitar and was strumming a few chords. "Just to ask out of curiosity. Do all of you know how to play musical instruments?" Gary asked. The siblings looked at each other then looked at Gary. "Why are you asking?" Jackie asked, "well, I was just thinking if you guys can sing or play something for us." he responded looking at her mom and sister who agreed with him. Sam looked at her sisters who are still thinking, "come on girls. Don't think, let's just do it. It's been so long anyway." Sam said as she looked at her sisters. "Alright, let's play something." Margaret said as she grabbed her beat box drum and sat on it. Jackie used Sam's acoustic bass guitar while Margaux got her tambourine and Stephanie proceeded in tuning her guitar. Sam decided to sing since she would be dedicating this song to her girlfriend and she has a plan in mind to make this Christmas eve more memorable. "Are you girls ready?" Sam asked as she looked at her sisters, the girls nodded while Sam cleared her throat. "Alright, so before I start I would like to dedicate this song first to my one and only Cheryl Cole. I want to sing this song to you, to remind you every single day that I'm always here for you and that you'll be safe in my arms." Stephanie strummed her guitar while Margaux shook her maracas.
