Sam sets course for New York while the others sit down for the flight. Being on the quinjet, it will only take them a few hours.

"Never thought I'd see the day when you would no longer be blonde," Wanda chuckles at Freya. "And with short hair!"

"Well, a certain redhead that switched hair colors with me roped me into a deal years ago," Freya narrows her eyes playfully. "I'm sure you can easily look in my head and know what that was." Wanda pauses for a moment as she searches Freya's memories before snorting with laughter. Freya smacks her arm playfully. "Cmon, gimme a break!"

"I just think it's funny! You make a deal like that thinking it would never happen. What are the chances?!" Wanda laughs.

"I've really missed you, Wan," Freya chuckles and gives the younger woman a warm smile.

"And I've missed you, Frey. So much." Wanda reaches over and pulls her into a tight hug. Releasing her, Freya looks over at Vision with a smile.

"I've missed you too, Vis."

"And I you, Freya. Very much." He nods his head and tries to give her a smile without grimacing in pain.

Freya stands and gives Vision a gentle hug before walking to the back of the jet. Her face instantly becomes blank when she thinks about the memories she has of the man that's about to attack their home. She takes a big, shaky breath in an attempt to calm her nerves. It doesn't work. Almost silent footsteps begin to approach her from behind. Sensing it's Steve, she turns and looks up at him. He's visibly worried about her.

"I can feel how worried you are. Talk to me, Doll," Steve says quietly as to not draw attention to their conversation. She sighs and leans against him. His arms instantly go around her and pull her close.

"I'm scared, Steve," Freya admits. "All of the nightmares I've had over the past couple of years are tied to him. I know that now for sure. I'm just praying there's something we can do to change the outcome. To stop him. I'm hoping that my dad, Peter and Stephen can keep the Time Stone away from him. That we can keep Vision safe."

"I know, Doll. Me, too. We'll stop him. We'll protect Vision and Tony, Peter and Strange will make it back. We can do this," Steve says confidently. Freya nods and stays silent as she leans against his chest. "Freya, look at me." She looks up and meets his blue eyes. "We're gonna get through this, okay?"

"Okay," she smiles.

Leaning down, he places a long kiss on her lips. She hums in content before he breaks it and leans his forehead on hers. Finally pulling away, he guides her over to the chairs, where they snuggle up to each other and wait out the rest of the flight. They finally arrive at the Avengers Compound by late afternoon. Sam guides the jet down and lands it on the pad before he helps Wanda support Vision. Walking into the building and through the hallways, Freya's hit with the familiar smell of home. The nostalgia is borderline overwhelming due to her link with Steve. She takes a deep breath as they continue toward the lab. As they start approach it, they begin to hear voices echo through the halls. Getting nearer, they can hear the unmistakable one of Secretary Ross. All six frown at the thought of dealing with Ross.

"On a stolen quinjet with five of the world's most wanted criminals."

"You know they're only criminals because you've chosen to call them that, right, sir?"

"My God, Rhodes. Your talent for horseshit rivals my own."

"If it weren't for those Accords, Vision would've been right here."

"I remember your signarture on those papers, Colonel. I remember how you condemned your own niece to prison. How you ordered that collar to be put around her neck."
