The Indoraptor and A Girl ✔️

As soon as my feet land on a puddle, it makes a splashing noise that catches Levi's attention. His amber eyes almost glow in the dark night as they gaze down at me, but soon after to the dark figure close behind me.

His pale lips curl in a vicious snarl, as even from a couple of meters, I can feel the vibrations from his growls reaching my chest. Not even a second later, a loud growling comes from behind me as well. Archer still has his nose close to the back of my head, giving me the certainty he isn't going to attack Levi. At least not right now.

"Levi," I say loudly yet softly as I stop walking once I am a good ten meters away from him. A safe distance for both hybrids to stare at each other. Levi stands up and growls even louder but makes no attempt to close the distance. "This is Archer," I point to the black dinosaur behind me. "Archer, this is Levi," I point back at Levi.

I look up at Archer and see he has his eyes locked down with Levi's, both waiting for a command or the perfect opportunity to strike. At first glance, one would think Levi – if he gets into a fight with Archer – would win because of his massive size. But nurturing both to their adult stages, I know all their strengths and weaknesses, down to the very last one of them.

Levi is ten times stronger or even more than Archer, but Archer is way more agile. Levi can communicate with almost every carnivore that composes his DNA. As for Archer, he can only communicate with Raptors and Levi because both being Indo hybrids.

"I need both of you to behave. I don't want any scratching or bitting, or even growling," I speak sternly, and they both stop with their growling, but their teeth are still bare to each other in a soundless snarl. "Please," My voice is weaker than what I expect it to be.

Both whine as they realize how broken my voice sounds, fear of having the two fight each other in a deadly match. I feel Archer's warm breath leave the back of my head as he steps around my body, his head raised to his full height to smell the air around Levi. He relies heavily on his sense of smell to perceive the world around him.

The Indominus keeps a sharp look on the smaller individual, still doubting his presence so close to me but makes no movement in protest. The Indoraptor takes another step closer to bigger individual, now on his four legs and in a spring-like manner, ready to evade if Levi were to strike.

Levi bends down, his massive clawed hands touch on the wet floor for support of his massive weight. He does so to get closer to Archer but still be in a favorable position to both strike or evade.

They keep sniffing around each other. Each second that passes, they get closer and closer until their noses touch. Standing his full height, Archer is about half of Levi's height, but a third of his length, yet his head was ten times smaller. I would've found this very cute if there wasn't a tension in the air between the two beasts. I wish none sinks their teeth into the other,
