A/N: If you consider reading about the events you have already seen in the show boring, you might want to skip this chapter. Also, please note that the Owl will be referred to as "he" even though I know that the correct pronoun would be "it". If that is too disturbing please let me know.

Splintering glass hit the ground the same time Jace did. Or should he say the Owl? This wasn't really his brother. It was a demon that possessed and tortured Jace, so much so that he had begged to be killed. And Alec was about to follow through with it. To kill his parabatai, the man he shared a part of his soul with.

He drew his bow when the blond man straightened up, a low growl leaving his throat. He looked at Alec directly. "Careful. He's still in here," he stated, calmly, staying at the same spot, as if oblivious to the deadly arrow aimed at his chest.

"He's prepared to die for it. I won't hesitate to fulfill that wish," he responded, letting the arrow loose. The Owl did nothing to evade it, he just raised his hand, stopping the weapon mid-air, before letting it drop to the ground.

Alec lowered his bow, realizing that shooting another arrow now would result in the same situation. "I could kill you with my magic right now. But I'd rather make Jace watch, as I tear you apart with his hands." the Owl stated, he sounded anticipating.

After all that torture Alec had seen in Jace's mind he wanted to keep this pain from his brother even more. More for Jace's sake than for his own survival, was he determined to free his parabatai from this hell he was trapped in.

As the Owl approached him he tried to draw another arrow. He knew how Jace fought, knew his usual tactic, but this wasn't Jace and he had never personally fought this demon. Before he was able to fully draw the bow the Owl grabbed Alec's waist and slammed them both into the nearest wall.

His opponent started throwing punches at him, landing two hits before Alec was able to duck and roll out of the way. Coming to a crouching halt he reached behind himself for two arrows. He had trained to use them as weapons in close combat.

In turn, the Owl pulled out two daggers. Alec rose, seconds before the demon attacked. Shadowhunter instincts took over him, a fast-paced rhythm of weapons clashing against each other arising.

Blocking an attack from above Alec was able to thrust the arrowhead into the Owl's knee, dark blood spilling out of the wound. The demon buckled for a second, before the fight continued, both of them now using their whole body, aiming kicks at their opponents' vulnerable abdomen or to block attacks.

The fight seemed to be balanced for now, Alec even landing more hits at his enemy than the other way around. But they didn't slow him down. When he managed to stab the Owl's arm he dropped the dagger, immediately swinging vicious attacks at him with the remaining one.

After a quick turn, the arrow found it's target in the other arm, causing the demon to drop this one as well. Pulling it out again he tried to deliver another blow at the Owl's chest, which he avoided with grabbing Alec's arm.

Seeing his opponent wasn't going to let go of it he started to aim strikes at his torso. Alec was able to score a few impacts before the Owl kicked him away forcefully.

Both of them were breathing heavily when Alec went for another attack, he and his opponent now being weaponless. After exchanging a few blows the Owl hit him in the face, causing the hunter to stumble back.

He wasn't able to regain his guard quick enough, the demon grabbing his shoulders and pushing him to the wall. The only action he was able to take was turning around before several strikes were made to his face and torso.
